I know man. Few weeks ago I got ticket for no front plate and also ticket for driver's side window tint at the same time. I had thread here. I don't know if u've seen it. That is why for now I have it there. I know it looks so I didn't want to drill the bumper.
Thanks for ur comment.

about your front license plate, does your state not care where it's located??
I know california strictly says center of the front bumper

I'm not sure if IL says where the plate has to be, but when I showed the picture of the plate the jugde said "Case dismissed." So far no problems.

what about putting the license plate on your dash (passenger side), tacky but better than where you have it now. I dont know if that's legal either... lol!

looks good, all you need is two "L" shape brackets made from metal, can prolly be fabriucated by yoiurself. They would mount underneath the front lip, and come up about an inch away from the front nose. I think this is a shot of BLK1TL's car.

I wish I could do it that way. But in IL the plate is supposed to be on the front bumper. BTW, thanks for the thought

Why not just mount the plate right? It looks absolutely awful hanging from the lower grill; far worse than the legal position.

Thanks for the idea RonDog. To be honest, I was thinking about that, but I was not sure if it is going to work OK. My only concern is that, when the car is in motion and the road is not smooth, would that make the plate shaking, dancing ?

Yeah, they had remodeled the place. Now it looks awesome.

I do keep the car in my garage. If I didn't have garage, I wouldn't have bought a new car. I don't know guys if u noticed that I don't have a city sticker. Just no need. The car stays in my garage or at night, while I'm out, the car is parked at the night clubs parking lots.

Actually shouldn't Ron Jon provide a couple L brackets for the plate like he discussed, that way he would not have to see his product degraded with the alternate location which just looks terrible. And for all that money whats a couple brackets probobly even reinforce the mounting locations so it doesnt cause problems. seems to me like it should come that way.

Well, u made a good point but I don't care if it comes with the body kit or not. Like RonJon said, it's very easy to do it urself and that's what I'm planing to do

I got them from Mr. HeelToe on this site. He is a really cool guy and he has the best prices around. He is a fendor on this site, so he gives us a discount compared to shops around here. I also got the Comptech RSB and I will soon order a strut bar too.

My brother and I are planning on entering our cars in to HotImportNights when it comes around next. Since your car is looking hot, you wanna enter too? Im trying to convince one of my friends with an RX8 to enter also, but I dont know if he is going to since he is not shure.

Our plan was to get with a team and enter with them because we did not want to go there solo. Do you know any team that will let us on just for the show?

If you guys are going to enter your car for next years Hot Import Nights you would have to register on the website. I am part of the HIN NCAA staff. Certainly would love to see some TL's next year at HIN.

Just what Shayan said it's good if you have couple of friends and enter as a crew. It would be great to see a crew of TL's from Acurazine to enter at Hot Import Nights. Anyways, you just register your car and the crew online and you get a registration number from the site. You would enter your cars in different classes such as Best of Acura, Honda, Nissan, Infiniti, Toyota, Mazda, Euro, VIP , Mild, Wild, Elite. Friday mourning is when you drive to McCormick Place to get your car ready for the show the next day. First, you and your crew would have to meet at the HIN tent outside to get your information on where your crew will be sectioned in McCormick Place and your wrist bands to get in and out. Loading cars usually starts at Noon till 10:00 p.m. cause there over 400 cars that enter the shows or even more. So between Noon and 10:00 you get to clean your car for the show, and you would get a box of Meguires wax, tire cleaner, interior spray, and tire shine for the show. There are HIN pre partys before the shows and after partys at certain clubs.
