CF Shark Fin on WDP. Yes or No (with picture of course)
I thought about getting a carbon fiber shark fin for my WDP. So I searched around and saw a white BMW with the carbon fiber shark fin. I think I like it but I am still not to sure. Please give your opinion. Oh, I photoshopped the fin from the BMW to my WDP to see how it looks like. Sorry, I am no professional graphic designer so my photoshop skill is lacking. This is the best I can do.

Your PhotoChop skills are fine.
I think it looks good.
Leave it CF Black IF you've got a black/white theme.
Otherwise paint it WDP.
Edit:
at darksom1. I think if we both had TL's and unlimited funds for modifications, we'd end up with two cars exactly opposite of each other. Kind of Yin & Yang.

I think it a pretty cool idea. My brother just put a white one on his white s2000 and it makes it looks official.

Maybe I'll get both in CF and WDP since they are cheap ... hmm ... kind of hard to decide ... like Volly said ... a shot with the whole car might serve more justice ... anyways ... thanks for all the input !!!

what's the reason for putting this on? so your TL would look like a BMW?
because every time I see someone put that thing on a civic or other imports, my first reaction is "what are they trying to do with something that has no purpose on the roof!!"

Revoluston: that's why they call it a shark fin ... it's fishy ...
Accuratein: I think if it's WDP, it will be more streamlined ... but like Bearcat94 mentioned ... if it can fit your theme, then it would look great
Modding cars is about uniqueness ... about exploring ... I'll try with CF and WDP ... maybe something will sparkle ...

I was looking at these just yesterday and thought about getting one for when I get my black overlay...However, I thought it wouldn't be the best looking thing. It looks good but I don't really like it on the TL. It's too high so I vote no.

it's not about adding phony antenna and not about Canadian or US TL-S ... i'll look into the RL fin ... angel eyes are from BMWs ... but it looks good on TLs ... we don't say they are trying to be BMWs because they hae angel eys ... M3 type of spoilers are cool ... we mimic it ... we don't say we are trying to be BMWs ... retaining the breed of the car is important but it doesn't mean we have to "hate it because we just want to hate it"

to tell you the truth, i have a mixed feelings ... not too sure ... my girlfriend hates it ... so ... i think i'll not put it on for now ...
but i do want to get a JDM rear window spoiler ...
the problem is that painting stuff in WDP is so freaking expensive ...

Dude it looks good, especially in CF.
I think you just have to move it up a bit higher from the rear windshield. Like an inch or two....
Also look for the CF Deck lip spoiler, perfect for the WDP
Screw everybody if you like it go for it.
Many will like it for it's uniqueness!

I don't like any antenna on the roof, whether it's a square, a shark fin, CF, body color, whatever. If you insist on having (keeping) one, keep the OEM one.
