CF Overlay-ed Grille Trim on Hood PHOTOS

Did my Carbon fiber vinyl overlay on the grille trim that is on the hood, looks pretty clean on the surface, but it is sooooo bad on the sides

How do you actually "wrap" the thing in vinyl? only the face showing is clean, other faces have all these folds, ridges, and tape that holding it on good, is it better to just trim the vinyl so that none is actualy wrapping, more like a sticker?

im also kind of digging the look of only the top trim with CF and the bottom part chrome. i have no clue how to get the main part of the grille out!

I've seen the results. Remove the red striping ASAP.
