Who? Nobody here cares! We know it's his car. If you can't tell we're making fun already, before he, as you call it rice's out the car. But it's not even that, it won't be riced it will be ruined. There's no way this will look halfway decent. None of the lines will match and it will look horrible. I don't think this guy thought this whole thing out.

(if you were thinking....you wouldn't have thought that!)

I'm not really feeling it but don't want to make a judgement until I see it. sounds like it will take more than 40 sq.ft. to have everything line up correctly.

cf wrap the entire vehicle?

seriously OP, just don't do it. we are trying to help you. i know you have this idea in your head about how it'll look awesome, but trust all these responses, it'll be a major pita n it won't turn out the way you're thinking it will.

once you get the vinyl, i would return it n get your money back to put towards something else. just my

I've seen cars fully vinyl wrapped, and it looked pretty damn good. There was a thread a few months ago that did his e46 330 in flat black and it came out fantastic.

Not sure about CF though......

i've seen cars wrapped as well, but getting the cf random patterns to line up is going to be a major chore. getting it to look somewhat decent is going to be difficult.

plus...i mean, why would you want your entire vehicle to be cf wrapped? idk maybe it's just me but i don't get it.

"hey bro, check out my type-s"
"woah, what color is that?"
"oh, i wrapped it in fake cf vinyl"
"oh..."

As long as OP got his vinyl roll atleast 4' wide, he shouldn't have too big of a problem lining up the pattern

Kudos to you OP, for being different

Guys, you DO realize that you're bashing something that you haven't even seen yet. Let's not pass any judgement until pictures are posted.

Let's try to keep the douche-bagginess (piling on, name calling, troll posting, etc) of the membership to a minimum. Okay?

OP - If you're gonna do this, it's up to you, but understand that some people aren't going to like anything too far off the beaten path. Unless of course it turns out absolutely stellar.

If you choose to post pictures, don't get all whiney and butt-hurt when you get negative responses.

i will not put out my opinion untill i see it. i personally think it MIGHT have potential if done right but the car have to be pretty modded and with the initial of a tuner look for it.
just dont wrap the car and slap some wheels then call it quits. all of the cars that have been wrapped by di noc cf are pretty modded to look good or have a tuner aspect out the door from the factory.
i would personaly say that i think it will look better if you wrap it flat black instead of the cf. but your car your decision!

Doesnt look bad. But with CF its gonna be tough lining up the patterns for every panel.

I, for one, commend you for even trying this ... and at that crazy cost too!!! However, although vinyl is a temporary way of changing the aesthetics of the car, if you find that it doesn't look all too good, that means bye-bye to $300 as it goes down the drain ... if you can afford that kind of financial flux, by all means go for it and post some pics!

It sounds like a fun project to do if you have a lot of free time and money on your hands, but again ... quite a few people, including myself think it won't look too great. Just my Post them pics after it's done though! I would much like to see how it turns out :P

Here's the pic from FB.
