Dang, sir...I've been contemplating a quarter or half inch myself...now you're gonna make me go and do it. How bad was rear/front camber? I am almost at the 6 month mark and due to have the alignment checked out once more for free...I just didn't want rubbing or the camber to be too much worse...

So tell me...
Also, I look forward to see you there...will you be on time. Turns out I can only make it from noon to about 130pm so I want to meet all the people I actually converse with in that timeframe. Maybe a couple of us could meet somewhere near and drive in together.

Do it! Lower it some more haha! I am not sure how bad it was before my alignment. Once I dropped it, I went straight to the alignment shop. As far as rubbing its not that bad.. Since I got my fenders rolled I didnt scrape anymore.. but now that I lowered it more I am rubbing lol .. Not scraping tho!

Here are my specs after alignment.
Front:
Camber: -1.3 , -1.5
Caster Adjust: 3.5 , 3.5
Toe: 0.00 , -0.01

Rear:
Camber: -2.4 , -2.7
Toe: 0.00 , -0.01
Total Toe: -0.01
Thrust Angle: 0.00

Yah man we should definitely meet up. I should be there around 11-12. Ill pm you my number so you can call me when you get there since I will be there before you. I really want to see your fog light wiring. lol

as for the wiring...it's off limits! it's now top secret since you snoozed on doing it!

lol.

Sure...do that...there's another member that probably wants to meet up too. At least that way it'll be 2 or 3 people that have met already rolling in.

So, went to the South Florida Mega Meet! Got one really AWESOME pic that TREW took! Thought I would share!

Today I got my new rear view mirror. The one I had was waay too small. It was not tall enough so the factory mirror would show. So I found out only Carmate makes a mirror that is tall enough to cover larger factory mirrors like ours. Only place I could find the mirror I needed was on Amazon.

Here is the new mirror I got:

Here are some pics to show the difference:
Old is on top.. the new one is on the bottom:

Old Mirror fitment :

Look at how perfect the new mirror covers the factory mirror! I can see everything now with this mirror like my other one, but now it looks nice!!

I purchased a new shift knob since I wanted a countersunk one. I wanted it to be lower then the s2k knob I put on. Saw this for sale in the Black market: https://acurazine.com/forums/car-parts-sale-361/voodoo-racing-weighted-countersunk-shift-knob-3rd-gen-6sp-737522/#post11145978
I could not pass this deal up since I wanted one for awhile and it was 50% off the NEW price lol.. Man does this knob feel awesome. Sits soo much lower now. And shifting is so smooth. I didnt know if I would like the ball design, but man does it feel smooth. I recommend this knob to anyone!! Really good for the price!

I also received a set of bushings from www.speed-source.com .. I sold them an oem bumper I have left in my garage from my Audi TT. They paid me.. and for my trouble shipping it to them they sent me these bushings. These will hopefully go on this weekend!

I was also really busy today because I am starting to purchase parts for my Navi conversion! The last real mod I am probably going to do to the car for awhile. Found the Navi unit and the radio for a pretty decent price on craigslist. Now I just need the rest of the parts. So, if you have anything but the navi screen I will be interested!! hehe

I will have pics of all this stuff tomorrow night!

Dude...you have gone balls to the wall on your modding!
Very nice...great to meet you in person and check out your car.
Yes, I ended up lowering more...did 1/2 on front and 7/8's " rear to accomodate the weight of the box. Going for my last free alignment (hitting 6 months now)

I also painted my emblems red and debadged the Acura and TL logo's. Also did the checkvalve removal from the slave cylinder (as you know). You NEED to get on that brother. You will LOVE the way the car will drive!

Here's an updated pic...

I feel like everyone could benefit from an interior convex rear view mirror. I've got one and you can see everything behind you and cars coming up on the side.

Yah, man non stop!! haha ..I see a good deal and cant pass it up! Car is looking good man! Drop definitely looks sick!

So, here are the pics of the new shift knob I promised.. Matches interior perfectly!:

Check out the height difference between the s2k knob and the voodoo knob! The Voodoo knob being countersunk makes it much lower then any normal knob. I don't think i want a short shifter anymore because it sits perfect now.

Voodoo:

S2k:

Here is the shifter bushing kit I got for free! Not sure how to install it tho.

We will see next Monday how hard the Navi install is.. I thought I would do it today or tomorrow, but I am too tired from working the past few days ...I am mentally drained.. so after a dew days off I will try the install on monday.. wish me luck!!

Updated pics hopefully tomorrow! I plan on swapping out my rims since the tires on mine right now are getting close to replacement. And I have a set of rims just sitting in my garage from my gf's old car.. she didnt want to put the new rims on the new car since it is a lease.. So I get to use them if I want!! woohoo! lol

Well I found alot of good deals on parts.. only had to go to the dealer for one expensive part.. the thing that was the most expensive was the wire harness from Martin on ebay (Acurahondatech). That cost me 475!!! ouch.. but I didnt want to chance messing up the wires.. I alsopurchased extra parts just in case.. I have 2 navi screens and 2 radios.. and 2 subscreens with the ac vent since alot of people were having problems with installing the ac vent..

Anyways here is a list of parts and prices I paid!

Well I finally had a chance to wash my car and get it cleaned up! I also put my ATLP wing on just to see what it would look like.. I found this wing on craiglist at a crackhead price!! it is painted white, and matches perfectly, but I want it to match my roof, so, I need to have it painted black. What do you guys think? Paint it black or keep it white?

Here is a pic of my fiance's old 19" RH Evolution wheels.. still undecided on if I want to swap to her old rims..

My fiance's new car and my car with the roof wing mocked up..

If anyone can suggest a place in orlando to paint my wing and have it installed let me know!

I personally vote for NOT painting the wing...you were lucky enough to find it in the right color...I think it actually would get lost with the roof AND back window being black. I like the fact that the white wing would break it up a bit.

My opinion...as always...great mods man. WTF do you do? You always seem to have the bucks to throw at mods!!!!

^^^that's just me being a hater...quietly modding on a budget. Lol.

Go to A class paint and Auto body in Kissimmee. They do the best work! Who does your performance mods on your car? The Acura place across from Fashion Square? Or do you do them yourself? Car looks amazing by the way!

Keep the wing white by the way, if you paint it black I dont think it will be that noticeable with all the black, imo

go to Samuels Auto Body in orlando:

Samuels Auto Corp.
5508 Benchmark Lane #120
Sanford, FL 32773
http://www.samuelsauto.com

They shop may look kinda small and dinky, but they do top notch work and usually handle the overflow and expensive stuff (ferrari's, Maserati's, etc) Also the last time I was there they were working on an M6 that was run off the highway into the woods (needed new roof, fenders, paint, etc)

Tell them that you know RJ with the Grey CL!

Also if you want something a bit more fancy:

Talk to ron at:
http://www.autosportbodyworks.com/ - They do the work for ferrari and Maserati of orlando

or

http://www.dayas.com/

These guys are expensive, but they do good work and have an amazing shop!

Not paint it huh? hmm.. what I really want to do is expensive.. but I am talking to my friends about it to see if we can get it done.. but it looks like I am going to paint it! Dogh..

Right now I am an RN. I just passed my boards last year.. I was a Business systems analyst (database administrator) for over 8 years and couldnt stand sitting in a cubicle.. lol .. plus I know how to spend/save my money lol

But if you look.. i mod on a budget too!! lol .. almost all my mods are cheap as hell.. but i also found crazy deals.. like my exhaust and atlp wing.. my atlp wing i found on craigslist orlando for 100!!! WTF!! Even thought I didnt have any money for it.. I found the money and made sure i could buy it because it was waaay to good of a deal! I even posted up on the florida chat thread to make sure it wasnt stolen because it was so cheap! lol

Thanks for the recommendation on the shop.. Kissimmee is a little too far.. dangit..

I do all my mods myself.. but I take it to First Class for things I dont want to do, like change my oil and change parts that are a PAIN.. like my axle lol ..

Your car is looking awesome. I think you should keep the roof spoiler white, keep your current rims, and get some 07-08 base tails with the white (that would set it off)

Or see if you can wrap the roof spoiler in vinyl to see how you like it.

I really dont like how the spoiler breaks up the back.. so thats why I decided this weekend im painting it black. I will keep my rims (Sell my gfs old wheels and buy her some stuff with the money) and the 07-08 taillights are on my list of things to buy!
