Bought a wax kit yesterday.....

Well I finally got off of my lazy arse and picked up a wax kit yesterday. Immediately went to work on the TL and my brother's KIA. I'm quite impressed with the results and it's so much easier on the body! I actually stayed up until 4 this morning putting 4 coats on both cars.

And this pic tripped me out:

Now I need to slap some rims on the TL and drop it.

Very nice!! What wax kit is that? Where are you in Austin? I am in the Southwest Austin area. Well done!

Thanks, I'm actually in the Round Rock area not too far from Dell Diamond.

I used mothers Canauba cleaner wax that I got from Autozone. And I bought a Ryobi 6" Buffer while I was at it. I shoulda got one a long time ago. I might have been able to save the paint on my Civic.

Wow looks great. Did you manage to take the orange peel effect off the paint?? Or is that not possible?

I really didn't see the orange peel effect at all. The paint was starting to take on a flat black effect which was looking pretty ugly. I was truly impressed with my brother's Kia because it's never been waxed since he bought it brand new in 2001.
