Still sitting in the garage

I have had no time at all with my son turing two being a 1 car family. Lots of family here from out of town.

I did not want to install them while with stock rims so now I have to buy my tires for the legends then I will put them on with the BBK.

The SC cold air intake is on and it sounds like a monster!

I did install the new boost gauge tonight and it seem to be working fine but I did not get a chance to fire the car up. It has been almost two weeks since I drove it

Also I fucked up painting the grill so insted of the overlay I am just going to take it to a shop and have them paint the roof black, and fix the grill, the chip in the back :rant (damn neighbors) and fix all the other little bumps .

So I'm clear, are you showing about 15 lbs of vacuum at idle, 20 lbs of vac at decel , and of course 5 lbs of boost under hard load...?

Makes sense to me as the SC is in bypass until above 4K rpm, so the vaccuum is the engine sucking air... and the surge is the stumble when the manifold goes from "suck to blow"... god I love spaceballs.
Finally got the headlights last night and I love the demon eyes and the clear. The front looks so much more agressive.

My boost gauge shows 15 at idle and 20-25 at decel and then 5 at WOT just like yours. To bad they don't make a 1-5 gauge

Also I got the procats on Sat. I don't think I am doing any more work on the car my self. I have been working on my 99 jeep plus trying to fit in tl stuff and it has been way to much.

Having a two year old you don't have that much free time. I got a good shop that is fair so it will make life easier. I know I am going to get flamed for not doing my own work but o well.

Headlights look sick brent, have you hooked the CCFLs yet?

I was going to PM you today asking if you had gotten them yet or not.

BTW how is the CF front lip extension holding up? I am thinking about getting it for my TL as well.

I have 4 YO and 1 YO... Time is precious these days. Most "fatherdays" and "birthdays" I ask for "an undisturbed day" to work on my cars/bikes... No excuses for not doing your own work...

Couple of Q's...

Where's your Wideband bung installed?

Procats...? You gonna pull the blower to install those?

Speaking of CF lip... Just installed mine too. Great add on.

Yep! got them all hooked up with Kennedys help and man they are bright. I can not be happier with the look.

I had to take the CF lip off to get the bumper off and was suprised how well it is doing. There are no cracks or scratches. Looks like the day I installed it after about a year and 10K miles.

The wide band bung is in the jpipe :ducks:

I was looking at the procats yesterday and I can't think of another way to get the front one in.

Another long weekend

I painted my grill myself and it is alright. I have some chips and stuff I want to take it in to get fixed. So let me know what kind of job they do.

Yeah heavy metallics like silver will flop at different angles and lighting. These parts also don't butt up flush and even, like a rear door to quarter panel edge, so you really see the flop. Probably looks fine in the sun, but Honda does have their bumper problems.

The ride is lookin good!

if you take the entire front end off it can be done maybe... definitely can't be done from underneath unless you know a midget mechanic

I was pissed, ok not really, when I found out that the delivery was the cats not the headlights. That was quick!

Getting my tires tomorrow and then dropping the car off on Monday for the drop, procats, bbk and rsb.

Rotora BBKs are soo sexy. I would even ditch my OEM brembos for a set of those (and yea, Rotora does make a 6MT bracket, included with the kit)
