So - my image hosting on photobucket was getting full, didn't think that if I deleted photos from it, it would delete them from posts...anyways, opened up on a new image host with Flickr and uploaded some shots from the Hometown Heroes event this past Sunday...mostly spent time taking photos of the Acura Crew
So I have been laying low for a bit lol - been super busy lately and haven't done much photo shooting. However, I just completed the Rally your Heart Charity event this past weekend to support K9s for Warriors. The Rally is a Spirited Driving Photo Scavenger Hunt spread over two days, however it's not a race, you win by completing checkpoints. We had ralliers come in from Georgia, Mississippi, and surrounding cities in Florida to start the Rally in Orlando at the Cars and Coffee. Cumulatively we drove around 970 miles from leaving the house Friday night to arriving back home Sunday Night. Our event theme was "movies" so we had to dress up in costume for the kick off Saturday morning! Each day composed a target list of coordinates to different cities/landmarks..etc and on a website was a set of photos to replicate and upload. We started in Orlando, headed west to Tampa, then south to the Everglades, east to Miami for the end of the first leg. Second day we started out in South Beach, up the coast to Ft. Pierce, Palm Beach, Cocoa Beach, Christmas (yeah I had no idea there was a Christmas in Florida), and back to Orlando to finish the rally. The next event is looking to be held in possibly in Georgia with Atlanta being the potential starting point. Check out rallyyourheart.com and k9sforwarriors.org for more info.
Here are some shots from the weekend - most of these were done on my Galaxy phone, not the dslr. 20160611_075156 by Matt Werson, on Flickr 20160611_081643 by Matt Werson, on Flickr 20160611_081651 by Matt Werson, on Flickr 20160611_081712 by Matt Werson, on Flickr 20160611_082253 by Matt Werson, on Flickr 20160611_090004 by Matt Werson, on Flickr DSC_0537 by Matt Werson, on Flickr DSC_0536 by Matt Werson, on Flickr DSC_0526 by Matt Werson, on Flickr 20160611_142601 by Matt Werson, on Flickr 20160611_164447 by Matt Werson, on Flickr 20160611_164524 by Matt Werson, on Flickr 20160612_085624 by Matt Werson, on Flickr 20160612_103426 by Matt Werson, on Flickr
Yes sir - all together we actually had a total of 6 show up throughout the "meet" time-frame. I'm losing steam on trying to coordinate these peoples to meet up - lol - oh well. Can always hope for better next go round.
I know right - more like a gouge than a bend - but he doesn't seemed worried about. The Acura Parts Manager at a local dealer just became a dealer for Vossen - so he's looking to get some new ones I think

Ask him how much would he sell them if and when he gets a new set.
It looks like painted engine bays are making a comeback!
I think they been a constant - been seeing some really good hand drawn artwork being made on some of the covers. I dunno - I'm not a huge fan of the covers, but without it doesn't look the greatest inside lol - if I had the funds and could powder coat the intake manifold, valve covers etc...i wouldn't mind leaving the engine plastics off ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I used to try and keep the plastics nice...but honestly, I like the look of the raw engine bay now...easier to get to everything and helps everything breathe in this heat!

Yeah - i hear that, but at the same time - no color - i like the color lol...and everything could use a good cleaning in there too - never did an engine bay cleaning - so i'm not sure how to go about it, i'm worried about the electrical pieces/belts in there
i use snapseed on my phone when I want to play around with editing lol - no lightroom or photoshop - thinking about getting something though down the road - i agree being able to handle the raw pictures better.
Transformation Tuesday! 5 years ago, I made the decision to get a 2nd vehicle to avoid adding excess mileage on the wifey's Subie, Day 1 I rolled off the lot with 80K and now 1,825 days later and 170K she's still running great as ever. Feels good to be car payment free! transformation tuesday by Matt Werson, on Flickr
