Bmore07TLS Progress Thread
Hey everyone, Well this thread is WAY overdue. I bought my 2007 Acura TL-S in June 2010. When I first bought it i didn't really plan on modding it all. That all changed but im going to start from the beginning little by little. A few of you I have met and you know its came a long way since but then. But to start here are a few Day 1 pictures.

why wont the pics show up?

There will be
I dont see them on my desktop but others can so ill take it. I dont know why i cant see them though
First things first, the stereo. Went with JL Audio for amp and sub. Never got the speaker box back from the installer but i got focal vr165 i think.

Not long after my stereo was installed, my battery died! So i changed it out no problem, drove the old one back for my core charge of 12.00 and boy was that a mistake. I wasn't paying much attention to the battery but somewhere along my trip back to the store my battery tipped over in the backseat. I wiped it up quickly and kept my fingers crossed. 2 days later i go out to my car and found this on my backseat. My stomach then felt like it was coming out of my throat.

haha just hold on my friend. This was a year and a half ago. I am very late starting this thread. This chaos led to leather sex
So after a week of calling around and talking to all the shops and companies who make custom seat covers (katskinz, etc.) i found out NOBODY makes a seat cover for the type-s just the base. FAWWWWWK. So i called every shop in Maryland i could find and nothing. Nobody could do it. So one day a friend is in my car and he says hey man my boy can fix that and gives me a number. Turns out hes a little one guy shop who has a garage in his moms backyard he works out of. Weird but ok hes my only option. Turns out the guy took my old seat covers off and remade me one customly piece by piece. Before we started i purchased an ok condition interior off ebay because he did say the job would take him a long time. Used seats came in, went right to him. Now i wait.........then 4 months later (a few family issues he discussed slowed him down but he communicated and i was cool with it since my car wasnt out of comission) we have this

and then this....

and then i got the headrest custom embroidered

and all 4 door panels done in white to match the seats

Great Falls Meet 2013 interior. Thanks whoever took this

Thank you everyone for all the love
I know whats it been 7-8 months since i started modding? I will, next pics are of the custom aspec we did
Well he told me 2 months originally cuz he wanted to do small jobs here and there to make bills (which i understood) and also had some family problems he had to deal with. I didnt mind cuz i have an extra interior so its not like i went 4 months with no car. It was worth the wait though
You too buddy. No not yet. Cardinal rule. DO NOT PUT WHEELS ON A CAR UNTIL YOU HAVE COILS
nope you were the first one lol
Thank you kind sir. Just under 2000. Remember he handmade the seat covers, and that included all the seats, all 4 door panels, armrest, and embroidered headrests
Next thing i did was my pressure switches and Redline ATF. My 3rd gear felt very sluggish when the car would shift so i figured what the hell its worth a try. Found somebody from that thread local. Turned out to be Aaron (Sharksbreath). So i pull in his driveway to meet him for the first time and do the job and theres this beautiful NBP TL sitting there. After seeing his car i quickly made up my mind to start modding. So i started small. Added an AEM v2 intake (sorry no pics) then i painted the engine cover. I chose Red because i love the older Integra Type R.

After much research, I decided to do an A-spec kit next since they were becoming extinct. I had to order the front and back in white and side skirts in sliver. I will admit i fell in love with Aarons front bumper and was graciously granted permission to do the same to mine. So we went to work.
Heres Dave showing me where to cut the chrome crossbar out

White a-spec lip and stock bumper

Here is where we filled in the cuts with JB Weld and plastic spreaders

Not even close to being done

Meshing for lower fog inserts

Here we wrapped the factory chrome piece in CF, i had them paint the black plastic part ASM to match when they painted the front lip, and we meshed the middle

meshed the lower fog inserts

Threw on a Domed Decal thanks to Aaron (if you dont have one you need to buy one), installed lower lip and now its almost finished

Put some weatherstripping over the top of the mesh

And last but not least i Carbon Fibered behind the emblem.

And now, what youve all been waiting for, the finished product

Thanks man. Credit goes to Aaron (sharksbreath) and dave (forgot his handle name). They helped me with it and Aaron already has his like this. i took his idea and altered it a little bit. But its mostly all his
Lol trust me it just doesnt look right without the emblem on there. I thought about putting a Type S badge on there at first. But i figured the original emblem would better. Keep it tasteful
