I believe he is using the TSX ones from what I see in his posts. We are using the Accord ones on my girl's Type S. The rears were a direct swap but the fronts needed some MacGyvering to get them to work.
When swapping out the stock Type S top hat with the F&F one the threaded end of the shock rod/shaft did not leave enough threads for the nut to thread on to. I ended up cutting one of the rubber bushings in 1/2 to expose enough thread to be able to thread the nut on.
Once the TL specific top hats are available I'll probably end up purchasing those and swapping them.
*Sorry for the thread hijack blacktsx05. By the way your car looks great. We have the same wheels and suspension on my girls car .

OOOOOH
the ride is good its alright for now but i think im gonna end up getting the TL spec kit from heeltoe when it comes out..it rides kinda sofy for my liking
nice ...i waited 4 months for mine lol...the price for gas over here is OK for now...ive seen it cheaper elsewheres
thanks i just got the fenders rolled tonight from my buddy...i planned on taking some pics today but the sun went down so i have to wait until tomorrow. the specs on the wheels are 19x8.5

the car looks weird with out the kit...it flows so much better with it
you just need to switch the top hats for the fronts. i bought new mounts, washer and that rubber piece that sits inside the top hat. 5 mins to switch everything over and then the coilovers go right in.
as for the rear i used 2 washers on each side, nothing had to be grounded down. having a 4x4 does suck man...i spoke with Marcus from Heeltoe and we both came to the conclusion that the F2 kit thats out right now isnt right for the car..it wasnt right when i had it for the TSX. i have 5 inches left to bring the rings on the coilvers down and sometimes the right fron shock still bottoms out..it did the same thing when i had it on the TSX as well. the right is good with the F2 kit that i have no but it should be perfected. im going to get the HT-Spec kit when it comes out sometime in september (estimated time)

If you play around with the damping adjustment and if you had the stiffer springs that are on the Accord kit, it would most likely be better. Not saying that it cannot be improved on for the TL kit, of course it can.

yes
couldnt fine anyone around here to lay my roof so i got the roof spoiler painted to match the car..cant go back now
no prob man, i actually posted in your thread in the suspension forum..i just used the oem top hat, the rubber piece that goes on right under the top hat (big rubber thing i forgot the name), oem top bushing, and oem top washer. i played around with the dampening and im still not satisfied but having a drop is better then no drop lol. but i plan on getting the TL specific kit when it comes out

While I understand that the Accord F2's could be improved for ride, I think the majority of your problem with ride quality is coming from the lower spring rates of the TSX kit. What do you have the damping adjustment set to? Close to firmest?

I have to bump you up so new members can see how fresh your car is.
Quick question, have you tried fitting the type s honey comb lower grille on the base bumper? I will be converting my 04 WDP real soon and man,... main reason why I am leaning towards the type s is because I do not like the base's lower grille.
