it rides great....stiff ride. About the wheels...the company that makes them got bought out by another company...so no more wheels...none of which Ron Jon could control...Shit Happens...I'm in the process of selling the car.

Basically, my machinist (who was lazy as heel to begin with) sold the business, and I just got fed up with the service. I'm in the middle of finding a new one, but still, no plans for the Devotion-3pF to continue.

How much did they run you, I'm thinking of doing the devotions on my 04 RRP. I know I told that the car was hot before but you took it to the next level. Did you have to roll the lip in side the rear wheel arches.

That was photoshop...thanks though, that woulda been the finished project, but to answer your question....I was told by thw heel maker that I wouldn't of to roll the fenders since i guess they custom fitted and if the car was dropped.....

Yeah, I'm still trying to sell my car (new price 30K...can't go any lower so dont ask!)

If your wondering bout the wheels than here's your answer from RonJon

So basically the wheels fell through...which ended my mods. Non of which was in Ron's control.

^^^ Bad news for Ron (and you) as I know how hard he worked on these wheels, but good news for me as there are only 4 or 5 sets for TL's!!

I remember you wanting to sell your car...can I ask why (I know it was in the BM thread, but I forget what you said). Why not just keep it and get the 1pF's in black? As someone else said, you can't beat RJ for quality.

Yeah I've heard his quality control is excellent.

I want to get into a condo, can't do that until I get rid of my one and only debt (car). Sadly, I'm looking into a 02 corrolla (flame on) since I don't like the new corrollas bodies.

Short story: I dont want no more car payments!

Nope, not yet...I lowered my price to 30K on cars.com and autotrader.com and wallah I got 5 emails...one of which was from a pastor in less than a few hours!

I did however sell the new AEM CAI I bought for it and the Teins SS's to a couple members on this forum

The car is offically back to stock

Looked alot better lowered!

How's your car buddy, looking hotter than ever I see!....I tried to see your thread the other day, but I couldn't see your pics (still can't)

for the record, I found a new supplier, same one as the Devotion-1pF, and I'm starting a new 20" x 8.5" wheel, it's a forged 2 piece, with cliper clearance on the 6 speed, 3" lip front and rear, but the spokes curve right before the lip. gonna be sick, here's a tech drawing right from the cad, just wothout the lip drawn in, just the face:
still debating on five or 8 spoke design...
Gonna be called the "Legend-2pF"

At one point we looked like twins there. But too bad because I would of love to see how your 19's would look like with the aggressive lowering. But there will always be next time.

Those look good. They remind me of the MOMO GTR 2-piece wheels I was looking to get .....but they haven't tested the clearance yet to find a fit for the 6MT.

http://www.momousa.com/wheel_products.php?wheel_id=174

These RonJon's might be just what I am looking for.

Ron, why don't you do an 8 spoke since you already have done the 5 spoke, or with the 5 spoke make them fatter , like the Work Euroline. Just a thought

Ron,

Damn...thats tempting and 3' lip all the way around!!!!(I'm all about the chrome lip with a different face finish)

But, I have to hold myself back....quick question though:

Would a 19' rim be available for that design?

That is a phat concept I like it a lot. A 3 inch Lip all around would be hot as hell. Like stated by CL Platano why not do a seven spoke like the Iforge or the axis seven's it would really make the lip really stand out. Just my opinion

He already has a 5 spoke design with the devotions, look in the upper right hand corner of the page. His concept just has fatter spokes and deeper dish.
