How the hell can you people say they look good when you can hardly see them? I'm not saying they don't look good, just that you can't see them. Add me to the list of folks wanting day shots...

Thanks for the comments guys. Here are some day pics, I really need to upgrade my camera.
Thanks, yeah that was me. My brother-in-law works there. His name is Gus.
They are Dforged, they are not as famous as other companies like HRE, Iforged, Symbolic, Asanti, GFG and so on.

I know I need a drop, just can't decide between Tein Basic or SS. What do you guys think?

I really like the chrome lip.......it is so much easier to clean then a polished lip. I strongly recommend that if you go with a 3 piece wheel, get the lip in chrome. Another thing I was shocked about is the ride......it rides like stock, not harsh at all.
BTW, the specs are 20x8.5 2" lip all around (don't know the offset) w/ 245/35/20 BF Goodrich GForce T/A's
I will take more pics, in better light, after I drop it.
Sweet ass car man. Hey, I think I saw you last week at my job. Did you go to capitol caddillac in greenbelt maryland?
better shots, are thoes iforged? I have never heared of dForged

Wheels look good, I don't think you need a drop though
Anyone with Tein Basics or SS? Is it worth the extra money for the SS vs. the Basics. I don't want any floating, are the Basics firm enough. The price difference on EBay is like 200 bucks. Should I spring for the SS, or will the Basics give me what I need. Someone please help me decide.
Also, someone on here said that you can't use the adjustments on the SS in the front because of the strut bar. Is this true?

ride looks HOT. How much did you pay for those?
i think the tein SS has more dampening adjustments, whereas the basics have little/no dampening adjustments. Don't quote me on this though, b/c that's just what i read/heard.

what's up with your volks?
Ride looks hot, if you were to lower i'd go w/ Tein h-tech and if you really want coil overs get the SS so you can adjust damper.

Does your rim/tire setup mess up the computer? They should be significantly larger in diameter than the stock rim/tire setup.

I think ur car looks awesome man lower it and ur done imo...and 19's will look likes 17's on a TL man what are u thinking ..

I have seen alot of TL's with nice 19's and a nice drop. I just figured if I was going to spend a decent amount of money on wheels, that I should go all out. I was back and forth for a long time 19's or 20's.....I knew that I wanted a dark center with a lip and rivets, so 19's would have looked like 18's. Anyway, I am happy with the look

I dont know what you guys are talking about..19's are too small?
I have 19's on my TL (Niche Rhines) with the A-Spec suspension and it looks perfect. Everybody has their own opinion though. Like for example, I dont get why people do staggered fitment wheels on these cars, it looks stupid as hell and serves no purpose. The car is FWD...
I think 20's look good on the car, but you have to be selective about the wheel, and in most cases, cant drop it, at all. it will rub. If I put 20's on my car it'd rub as well, thats why I went with 19's.

i dont understand why yall TL owners cant get 20's to fit with a drop and not rub my lil tsx is on 20's with almost a 3 inch drop and i have no rubbing even with 2 batteries in the truck and 2400 watt amp and 1 75 lb 15 . I guess u have to do your research on the wheels to make them work with a drop and not just buy them for the bolt pattern ...I would roll 19's for daily driving so i dont mess up my 20's ..

It all depends on the offset, the width, and the tire size. You could slam an auto TL with 20x8 w/ a 40+ or higher offset and 235/30 tires. Your ride maybe alittle rough, but it would work.
