Coming soon: EDFC, RV6 front bar, and new front motor mount since mine is shot.

Today I installed my new front drive shaft....biggest pain in the ass ever, and the RV6 resonated race pipe!

I don't really notice a differenct with the racepipe in to tell you the truth. I do however feel a little more umph at the butt dyno.

Car looks freakin amazing man. Love those wheels. Deff. influencing me to want to get some wheels like that. Deff has an aggressive look and looks sweet to match up with the type s tails and sidemarkers. Looks sweet on the SSM man..good work

I really want to get it done! I have a cousin that paints and does body work in Phoenix, he told me he'd do that and fix the dings on the front/rear bumpers for my birthday here in a few months. Just need to plan a trip out there. It will be done by this summer

Mine are barely stretched, a 245 is perfect for an 8.5 rim where mine is a 9. It would be extreme if I had a 245 on a 10. But here you go.

what is stretch?
- "stretch" refers to stretching a narrower tire over a wider wheel, the sidewalls stretch from the lip to the tread

why do stretched tires?
- well the whole thing started in germany/belgium, local laws required that the tire tread be within the fender line. well that doesnt allow one to run wider or lower offset wheels, so they put narrower tires on the wheel to maintain legality

- when you would like to run really wide or low offset wheels and keep the tire tread at the fender

- when you would like to go really low and not rub

isnt this unsafe?
- there hasnt been any soild evidence that running a stretched tire is any more dangerous than a regular tire.

Very Nice lookin ride! Can you post a couple of pics showing how flush the wheels are to the body. In the pics you have they look pretty flush, just would like to see a better angle- thanks

Do you think a x10 on the rear would work? I wonder what the offset would be? In the add 5zigen says the x10 comes in a deep 3, while the x9 comes in a deep 2. That might look dope if you like the staggered look.

I dont think the tires look stretched at all. Im actually thinking of going with 235/35/19 452s on my 9 inchers...

Lembowski there's rubbing at all with the 9" width and low offset? No issues in the front when turning or anything?

I can turn them all the way with no rubbing at all!

I'm actually quite impressed with that. I rubbed more with these tires on my 19x8.5 Volks.

LoL How is that even possible? I want to get some Advans in 19x9 +38 all around but I don't want any rubbing anywhere. You think I should just go with +45 and play it safe?

Did the Volks have a lower offset? Maybe that's why they rubbed and the 5Zigens don't.

We even though the tires doesn't look stretch in the pic, the tire is definately not as vertical as it was on the 8.5 wheel. I have a 19x9 with a 37......you should be fine with the +38. How low are you?

I plan on dropping it to at least a 1 finger gap, maybe a little less.

I'm slightly tucked in all 4 corners, so you should be fine with a 1 finger gap.

The slight stretch to the tire clears even more room from rubbing and these 9inchers fit as good if not better than my previous Volks.

Well here in the next few weeks I will show some other new items coming down the pikem can anyone see another new item I have installed?

My favorite

Dude, I love the aggressive look of the 19x9's! I've debating changing to a set-up similar to that using the Advan RS wheels. Nicely done! Which disk face did you go with?

They are the type 2 face. I wish the type 3 would fit, but the offsets weren't to my liking

Yeah I can see how you would have had a problem with the 19x10 w/type3 face! I've looked at those wheels a 100 times in the magazine and never saw them on a car that did them justice til now.

Well its spring and the mod bug hit again! I just ordered the EDFC and sent my final payment for Richie's front bar! Got the EDFC on eBay brand new for $340, and I had a eBay 15% coupon making it around $285 so I think that's a killer deal for a brand new EDFC! Should be updating pics here in the next 2 or 3 weeks since those should be on and I also put the Type-S rear A-spec lip on courtesy of my man Dope.
