TIRES! play a bigger part in stopping distances than having the brembos.
If I recall correctly, the automatics actually stop SHORTER than the BREMBO counter parts.
Just a little FYI.
the Bremebo's help with BRAKE FADE.
which, in terms of a sudden stop to avoid an accident, the brembos would have not saved you.

I am glad you are OK, it happens what can u do. I remember how pissed i was when i had an accident just recently. Just don't worry about it too much parts and cars can be replaced, good luck with the fixing process.
