As a relatively new member, I wanted to start my own thread so that I can keep track of my own car's progress, as well as have others check it out. I don't have a nice camera or anything, but hopefully my pictures will turn out alright.

My mods will be simple and slow, as I don't have that much extra money to spend on the car.

Mods so far:
- Tints (5 windows): 25%
- Roof Spoiler (from bmwoemshop on eBay)

Planned mods:
- Full aspec kit
- LED Interior lights including license plate
- Brake covers
- Cleared headlights/DRLS/Fogs
- TBA??

Thanks! I am a little hesitant about doing it myself... I know there is the DIY, but I'm also scared to mess up my bumpers Any tips for install? And if anyone knows someone in the Bay Area who can help me install, that would be great too. I'm guessing dealer doesn't do it/will cost a lot

The dealer will definitely install a-spec for you, afterall, it is an OEM kit.

But prepare to pay 2 arms and 5 legs for it. Better grab a friend and do it yourself on a nice cool weekend.

How much do you think it is? Yeah, I need to buy a few tools in order to do it myself. Hmmm... so funny story about my license plate. So I bought this car used, and never received both license plates. I was in SF one day and was parked normally, but when I came back to my car, I had a ticket for no front license plate. So I had to go to the DMV and get a new plate -_-

 

You left out The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, any of The Godfathers, and just about any Scorsese movie.

 

Honestly, if it took him a few months to watch, it was probably all of them...and let's not forget the effin drive, man...the DRIVE!

 

If you can't find anyone in the Bay Area to help out, definitely consider taking it to the dealership

 

Been a long time since I have posted! Honestly, been really lazy about actually attempting mods and can't afford to spend money on parts

Installed full A-Spec a few months back and have been loving it since. Ended up doing all of the work myself.

Also painted brake calipers myself!

 

Aspen kit and calipers look great!
