Should be interesting. Just curious is that going to be a quality paint job or a cheapo one? Reason I ask is because an entire color change I would think is usually a little more involved than just taping all the parts. The tail lights werent even removed, or the rear trunk license plate bezel. When you do a quality repaint all those components need to be removed (atleast I would think). Imagine opening the doors and seeing silver paint in all the jams, or popping the hood to see the remnants of what was a black car.
Any body shop guys here can give some more info on this?

Car looks great and the color is ridiculous, hopefully the paint job is quality but imo the bumpers, door handles, mirrors, lights, everything comes off and prep'd before its sprayed.
One thing that doesnt make any sense....why spend all that money on a paint job BUT not finish the aspec kit??

looks really good... i painted this color before on a bmw.. love how the blue pearl stands out... your car looks sharp...give a lot of credit to the painter... your tail lights might need to change..

Under the hood is the only place where it is black, and I rarely pop the hood unless I'm changing my oil so it doesn't matter to me. It would cost a ridiculous amount to get something like that painted when nobody will ever see it IMO. Also its not like my car was yellow, where the yellow paint is going to stick out.

I'm still debating on the tail lights. I'm going to give it another couple weeks to decide on that, but I love the metallicness (idk if thats a word lol) of the paint

Tein SS will be put on next week by Al (Stillhere153) so do not make fun of my Neuspeed Sport drop at the moment lol.
I also want to thank Al (stillhere153) and Ahmad (06 Acura TL) for helping me out with getting my car together. Most of all thanks to all of the Acurazine forum because I wouldn't have had any ideas if it weren't for me spending countless hours on here lol

LOL! I hope not. I met this E36 fanatic a couple days ago and was asking me what color it was. When I said E36 Estoril Blue he went crazy (in a good way) saying he didnt think it would look that good etc. Lets just hope they all say that lol

KBP is nice, but I didnt want to be the same as every TL-S out there. I figured since I'm repainting the whole car, I'll do something different. Everyone has their own opinion though..
