Aspec Suspension and Body Kit installed!

I would like to thank you all for your help, advice and technical resources. I currently removed my Eibach Pro kit and installed the A-spec suspension and body kit. After owning my car for 3 ys now, I'm very pleased with the ride comfort and new look. After the 11 hour install, I took the liberty to polish (3M Foam Polish) and wax (Mequiar's NXT 2.0) the 06 TL for a few pix!

Are those pics after the insatll? It looks like a stock ride height. I guess they just have to settle. Just for kicks- why did you remove the Eibach's and install the A-Spec? For ride comfort?

That's just the Chicago Eibach's. I don't have any sagging. Too much power and good looks for that!
(Did I read in another thread of yours-NO custom exhaust?)

Rear sag happens in NY too! Haha you're just living in denial. It happens because of the differently shaped wheel wells. Its there... just depends how OCD you are.

Me... no custom exhaust. Running the CT catback with precat deletes, j pipe and race pipe.

I replaced the Eibachs with the A-specs for several reasons. I was going to install Koni Yellows but the cost was $500-$600 dollars. The Aspec suspension (assembled) was the same price. Also I wanted a little of my comfort back. The Aspec kit sits lower then the OEM suspension. And yes the springs need more time to settle.

Is your car Auto or Manual and what type of suspension (auto/manual) did you get for your car? I'm debating on getting the manual Type-S A-spec suspension for my auto Type-S...

Judging by the brakes, it's an automatic and looks like the automatic version of the A-Spec suspension. I'm getting my suspension soon....damn canada post to US shipping. Drop is about 1/2-3/4" when it settles mostly in front probably (hopefully). Looks like its at least 1/2" now all around.

But non the less, looks pretty good, and IMO you should have gotten coilovers, so you can drop it more

Yeah...the day you install your A-Spec lip kit in 2 hours, let us know.
11 hours is fast between the 2 jobs considering it was probably a first time gig for him on a TL. Not only do the rear seats have to come out, but the rear bumper has to be removed as well to install the A-spec kit.

I did the install by myself both the suspension and body kit. I took my time with everthing to ensure a correct install and that all my torque measurements were dead on. I hate to revisit something that should have been correctly from the get go.

Yes, my car is an automatic. According to the installation package, the drop should be 1" all round after it settles. The problem is I only drive my 06 TL on the weekends, since I drive my 03 TL during the work week.

Also I was familiar with the suspension removal and installation procedures since I installed my Eibach Pro kit. I didn't really like the comfort level of my TL with it being to low. The look is good but the ride is crappy and makes your car sound like its falling apart IMO...lol. But that could have been dut to the stock shocks with the Eibach. I'm very pleased with my new suspension and kit. I think I will buy another set of 19's for my TL.
