asm VS ssm

i was just looking at the got ssm and got asm pics above and i thought they looked exactly the same. did they change the name for a newer year model or are they two separate colors that you can get ?

Changed the color in 06. I've got a ASM and don't see much diff either.

Yup, the difference is so slight makes you wonder why they did it. I think the ASM might have a little more metal flake.

anyone have pics of them side by side then maybe a diffferance can be seen

I took a good look at a ASM parked next to my SSM and my SSM looked like it had a blueish hue that the ASM didn't have..............

The SSM definitely has more blue in it. Take a look at an SSM car in the shade. It is real obvious. SSM nor ASM are REAL silvers in my opinion. They are more grey than anything else. Acura Celestial , BMW Titanium, and Mercedes Iridium are real silvers.
