i must say this cause people are assuming this 3m vinyl is pre-cut(not referring to you ZX88)...they do not sell precut vinyl to fit the roofs....its all on you to cut the stuff right...from a bulk roll

Any tips on getting out all the wrinkles and creases that you get when laying the vinyl? I did the top part of the grille, the piece connected to the hood, and while it wasn't super difficult, it's making me pretty leery about doing the crossbar with all those curves.

take your time....and use a hairdryer for the curves...you will see once a little heat hits it...makes it easy to to do curves and nice to work with.....but dont trim anything till it cools down...let it set for a few minutes then trim

Very nice. My painted grill is chipped to hell. Might just do this instead.

You want my honest opinion? I think you should cut the vinyl out more so the entire reverse lights are exposed or take all the rear vinyl off and just cover the rear chrome bar. On the front I'd wrap it the exact opposite- so just the center cross bar is matte black. These two simple changes would probably make your jaw drop with the difference it'd make. Oh and maybe make the rear "A" matte black since you've got that theme going?

Car looks good either way- you picked a good color. Post some pics from farther away.

the center chrome bar matches the ones that go next to the fogs..and the reason i made the reverse lights smaller was too mix it up from every other tl on the road...some like it and some dont..guess which one i am..was gonna do the rear A in black but now since i removed the vinyl from that rear chrome piece i think it flows well...anyways i appreciate your opinion and suggestions....now that i think of it i really dont have any head on photos..ill take one and post it

Go with the black chrome! (heel-toe sells them)

On another note...do you ever get hassled about the front plate? I want to take mine off so badly, even with a nice WeatherTech cover it just ain't right...plus I have decals all ready to go for the lettering...
