Ha, wish I had a TL, but the 179" of snow we got last year convinced me to get an Anthracite EX-L 07 Pilot. (with a nbp 08 TL was sitting next to it at the dealership smh)

Damn, Cuse is pretty good with the snow clean up. After they clear up the roads, you'll be fine. The TL handles pretty well in the snow with good tires.

It is nice to have an SUV when snow comes though tbh.. my buddy's Wrangler was ripping through the snow in Cuse last year haha..

You're right....the City of Syracuse is pretty on top of it.
Its the minimally plowed drive home (81 South in to DC) which was rather intense. Saw waaayy too many cars (Firetrucks included) flipped over on the side of the hwy.

The 4WD is a blast through the snow though....I've owned that hill on Claredon....

Happy New Years everyone!

I just had her washed the other day and cleaned inside. I touched up a few spots where paint was chipping and I redid the upper and lower grill with Plastidip. When I had my bumper painted in the summer, the painter didn't clear it (because I wanted flat black) so it started chipping over time.

That hill on Claredon is no joke haha. I love going down it in my car but I can't imagine going down it with snow around.

And yeah it's def safe to go with an SUV when living in Syracuse. I see a few RWD cards like the G35s and M3s around, I wonder if we'll be seeing those guys much when it starts snowing.

Crossing my fingers that there will be minimal snow this year.

I just PM'd NVA-AV6 to see if he can still make the brackets. I'll be building the BBK slowly over the winter time so that means buying SS brake lines, brake pads, and researching what rotor will fit. I'm currently looking at the G37-S 14" rotors.

I'm trying to get the calipers powdercoated teal with the ACURA logo machined then rebuilt.

Hopefully aiming to have these on around April or May.

Bringing this thread back from the dead!

Sorry I haven't had time to update it but here is what I've done over the past year:
Received my AcuraZine decal and slapped it on

I had her re-tinted in 20-25% (not exactly sure which one). The old tint was 35% and it started peeling.

Getting cleaned up!

Decided to perform my second ATF (2x3) change with Redline Type-F fluid. Oh yeah.. I forgot to mention I built a wooden ramp last summer.

My father bought a power washer recently so I decided to use it.

Remember those RL calipers I acquired last summer?

Well, here they are.. fresh from the powdercoater.

Rotors (Shoutout to Brakemotive)

Other things not shown are Russell SS brake lines, Motul 5.1 brake fluid, and EBC RedStuff pads. I'm doing both the front and the rear brakes.

Just bought Varrstoens off a member this past weekend. 19x8.5 +35 (215/35/19) and 19x9.5 +35 (235/35/19).

And the mailman dropped off the last piece of the puzzle last night

Going to get my brakes installed this upcoming weekend.

Quick rundown of this past week.. I sold the Gold XXR 522s

Picked up 07-08 base tails

Got my EBC RedStuff pads installed, BrakeMotive rotors installed, and the RL calipers installed over the weekend.

Also I flushed all the old brake fluid out with Motul Dot 5.1 brake fluid. I couldn't get the SS lines installed because one of my brake line nuts were rounded by the previous owner.. I'll probably get SS lines installed later down the road.

Here she is all cleaned up

Definitely needs a drop

For the RL BBK I had to buy a bracket from Paul, NVA-AV6, for $160 shipped.

I think it's the best bang-for-buck BBK ff you can find a pair of RL calipers for cheap.

Here's some more info:

Yeah I know right? Haha.. at the time I was busy and I ended up heading to school. I've been waiting to put these on for the past year though with that exact color in mine.

It was $150 to powdercoat it Candy Teal.. there were cheaper colors but I thought Candy Teal would stand out more. And it was $25 to rebuild the calipers. $18 for the rebuild kit.
