loving the CBP setup w/ those rims...how about some feedback on those sonic tuning wheels? fitment, quality, hub rings necessary and if so were they supplied, how does the offset work w/ the TL's...

hey man your inbox is full so i'll put my reply in here:

I got the wheels directly from their showroom, if you pick it up they wont charge a dime for shipping. As far as the rims go theyre nice , 64.1 cb so no hubcentric rings needed, its a clearcoat finish so i like it. These are knockoffs of BBS CH's.

As far as fitment goes you need spacers because they are a +48 offset. I don't know if you have brembos or not but i highly suggest getting some sort of spacer in general or else these will look sunken in if you have a drop. I'm from nova so tysons corner/vienna area. I'll be at the dash performance meet next sunday if you wanted to check them out in person. Hope i could help man

OK, Cool I found their website and see now that they're 64.1 (which i assume matches the TL OEM bore size)...what is the TL OEM offset? If these are +48mm what size spacers did you get and from where? also, where is their showroom in nova? their website lists the set for $699...thanks again

btw - sorry about the pm full inbox, I think it's because I'm a new member it allowed me to send a PM but wont allow me to recieve

my stock tl-s wheels have a 45mm offset, spacers can be found on ebay or any reputable wheel site. Their showroom is in MD not nova but its not too far up. Ray is the guy who i dealt with, real nice dude (i guess anyone is nice who wants your money haha).

I love it. Has a great OEM+ feel to it. Not sure if that's what you were going for, but if so, you succeeded.

Edit: oh snap, 1,000 posts. Only took me 6+ years to get here.
