Has anyone smoked out their headlight housing and then put the rockblocker smoked film on it? I would LOVE to see pics because I am having it done but not sure?

 

ive smoked my the turn signal part of the headlight....i like it...not sure if thats what ur looking for...but it looks really good IMO

I put the blue film on the front and smoked the rest.... look sick when you see it reflecting the blue in front.....

 

omg please post pics of the blue tints on the front.. I've been thinking about either yellow or blue.

 

Ill post pics tomorrow (but it wont be washed!!).... I dont have any yet but i will take some when i get to work... (its already dark and i leave before it gets light....) No prob.... Youll like it!!! I called and talked to the dude at RockBlocker and he convinced me to go with the blue... it looks hot

 

If you put the rockblocker tint over the painted headlights it will take away from the effect of having them painted OEM to match the car.

It will look better without the tint.

 

putting on smoked film would defeat the purpose of officially smoked lights.
y would u want to rice up a professional & clean look

thank you i did a search and couldnt find anything, but it looks great and differnce at night with the lighting because my wife lets me drive her piece of garbage to work and she sometimes takes my car to work... but thanks again

As stated very unclearly by myself, I was looking for anyone who had the headlights smoked out AND put on the smoked rockblocker kit at the same time. I smoked out my headlights and also purchased the rockblocker kit for my headlights. I have not put on the rockblocker kit because I want to see what it looks like because the smoked headlights look nice and I dont know if putting the rockblocker on it might be too much. pics or input?

 

after getting the entire rockblocker kit , i decided not to do the front even though it looks cool (probly not @ night though). u lose 20% light & officially smoked is the way to go. although painting the chrome after clearing the amber messes up the reflection of the turn signal, so i'll leave that alone & maybe just paint the rest to get that bmw halo look(daytime only)

 

I didn't like the amount of light it cut from the headlights so I decided to do my own trim work. I prefer the way it looks now.

oh, just the signals. I returned the headlight film. it just makes me want to get the lights cleared. I only got it cuz it looks good
