Anthracite with 20" Chrome Zinik

I know many you are not fans of 20" wheels on the TL, let alone Chrome, but I thought I would share anyways. Enjoy... or not.

Those 20"s are not bad....you just need to drop it and put on an ASPEC Kit. Nice wheels

Not bad......nice lip. The chrome looks nice with that color. Need more pics. Looks like you could give it a nice drop, without rubbing. You don't need that aspec kit.

very nice! Would like to more pics from the side.

How much did the wheels and tires end up running you?

I'm thinking about getting some chrome for my anthracite, not sure about 20's though!

Wheel - Zinik Adrian Z7 - 20x8.5 offset 42
Tires - Nitto Neo Gen 245/30

I was debating between 245/30 and 245/35, but the 30 helps maintaing the overall diameter. I know I better watch out for potholes...

Absolutely no rubbing, plenty of clearance. I would actaully prefer a 35 offset to push the wheel out a little more. Spacer?

Not bad looking for a 20" but those tires are way too small. All wheel and no tire. Maybe you got a good deal on them but they would not last a week out here on Bay area freeways. Good luck.

Nice 20's. I see your from Renton Wa. I'm from graham. We're planning a meet out at the Northgate Mall on the 11th, and then a cruise to Canada to meet with some of the Canadian TLer's. You can read about it in Offtopics in the group meets threads.

Yeah i know what you mean about 30 series vs 35 series tires for the TL 20" fitment. Surprisingly the 35 series works just as well even though the 30 series is mathematically correct. Good luck with 30 series, i ran a staggered set up on my BMW with 35 series in front and 30 series in rear and the 30 series got a couple flats and bent a couple wheels. No problem with 35 series in front though. I've ordered 35 series for a set of wheels i have on the way. Just be very careful with those 30s.

I wouldn't recommend a spacer unless its custom made (expensive!!) because i tried this on my prior car and spacers can create an unsettling vibration at certain highway speeds. You could test try it for yourself though, the generic spacers are very cheap, like 20 bucks each if i remember.

WHAT IS YOUR LIP? 3-inch?

Too much wheel and not enough rubber for my tastes. It must feel like you're riding on the rims with those tires. Each to his own taste! Good luck with rattles.

Big chrome, 1 piece wheels, probably will need spacers for the big brake kit to fit...

Normally I would have an objection to 20" chrome on a car such as the TL... But those work fairly well. Isn't obtrusive like others that I've witness on here. Nice selection.
