Let me know how yours turn out from the dealer. I'll consider that option too since I don't have a template either

- I tried a few different set ups to see how it looks, but I think the cleanest is to just remove everything.

And decided this is how she should look like

Thank you,..... she is def done now.. except for a carbon fiber steering wheel and OEM painting the plastic engine covers....

Car looks much much better now,,,, but i hate those damn AEM plate frames hook up something original and it would be hot......

The Comptech does sound much better, especially with the E-Shift 3rd cat...

I think I am the only one with only 1 E-Shift cat,,,, The third cat and CT exhaust def does accelerate quicker and you really can tell. i was very pleasantly suprised

Keep up the good work, and let me know when the next meet is i will be there

Cool

So I finally gave it a wash today and here are the pics!

-I'm not too satisfied with the spoiler, because it looks like it's goin to lift real soon.. I haven't driven it anywhere since i put it on yesterday, but in a bit i'mma go to the gym with it. Hopefully a shoot tonight with some friends as well. IMO, it looks real clean .. But the way it's sitting is still bothering a lot.. here are some pics..

Any suggestions??(besides taking it off and redoing it all over again...)

Here are two shot of the rear that I took. Lovin it!

YEAH...

You def got to fix that..... It will only get worse not to mention loosen the rest of the spoiler once you get rain and dirt and dust in there....

I thought you had to screw these to the trunk, and not just tape them on?

Yeah, wondering the same thing....

When i put my regular lip spoiler on my car I had to warm it up considerably to get it to be more pliable.. I used a hair dryer on it as i was putting it on very slowly to ensure a good uniform fit,,, Also had my trunk out in the sun for a couple of hours too.

First of all you always have to do these installs when it is warm out to help mold the spoilers fit and ensure that the tape you use sticks its best

He was asking you if you lined the spoiler up on the trunk before you installed it.. If you checked to see if everything lined up right before you put the tape on and stuck it to the trunk.. (thus the term dry fit)

I used a pencil to trace around where i was going to install it at using another guys help so we had a good base line instead of just trying to throw it on...

I would recommend uninstall def...

Either screw the dam thing down.....

OR uninstall then re-install with extra tape on the very far part closest to the back window assuming that you get a good dry fit on the trunk.. and make sure you do it in direct sunlight and with extra heat if needed....

i had 3 people help... it was all lined up.. i think I should have put the weights on the front spoiler instead of the back, pushing it down so the middle sticks instead of the front.. that's where i fked up..

w/e tho, this will do..

-smoked a GTi today. the look on his face was priceless... felt good =)
