Another successful accord fog light install

Hey guys I wanted to post some pictures of my install that a friend did for me. I purchased a set OEM fogs from a member here in the black market and 6k hid kit from ddm tuning. Personally I was scared to cut up the bumper so I called Kevin who is good friend of mine who works at MCOR Automotive in Tampa. Drove down a couple days later for the instal. Let me know what you guys think. Please excuse the dirty car, I took the pictures after my drive back home.

Looks good, I have the same OEM Fog Light button on my dash, but I moved the VSA to the inside, and put the Fog button in the outer slot, since I use that button more.

Thats not a bad idea at all. I might switch them around next time the panel comes off.

Oh...EP's...I miss mine. It wasn't fast, but it was awesome...totalled it 2 weeks after getting the HFP on it. That was back in 2005 though, had a BOM RSXs after that.

Back on topic...the fogs look amazing. That guy is great, by epoxying that piece on the end of the grill it really looks OEM. That and it looks like he set them pretty far in so they actuall aim straight. Mine kinda aim outward, but I like it like that. Mainly because I don't want to redo it!

lol.

For sure, yours shoots MUCH more straight than mine. Then again, I paid 177 for the set on sale at handaaccessories...and I installed myself so I guess I got what I paid for lol.

Great job though, seriously. Congrats on it.

Thanks bud. They defiantly make a difference, and they look great at the same time. I've always loved lower mounted fogs.

Your headlights match very well with the HIDs. I am assuming you're using an 8K kit for the fogs? What byulbs are ou using for the headlights?

Thanks man, sorry, hadn't seen this.

DM: Check out ddmtuning.com
$29 for a WHOLE hid kit with lifetime warranty. Get one H11 (or H1 or whatever the foglight is) and one kit D2S (low beam kit) and get both the same temp so you can ensure they came from the same batch and have EXACT matching color. Ok...yeah, low quality bulb I know...but please...tell me your eye can discern the loss of visibility from 3200 lumens to 2900 when ur coming from a halogen 900 lumen bulb. It's the difference in color that makes the difference but for that cheap, I'll live...and with the ZKW's...you're golden!

They are actually 6K for the headlights and fogs. For some reason they always turn out bluer in the pictures. The headlights use D2S and the fogs are H11. I bought everything from ddm tuning since they offer lifetime warranty.

Wassup everyone. I'm new to this site. Just picked up a 2007 TL. Ready to make some upgrades. Where's the best place to pick up some HID lights for my fogs?

I've picked mine up from ddmtunning. There is a sponsor on the forum that offers HID kits. If i knew about him before i ordered from ddm then I would have probably gone with hidxtra. Heres a link to his thread.

Is there a more detailed DIY then what SIXSIXFOUR has out there. I guess my biggest question is how do you get the fog mounted and how did you do the wiring?

You could try to angle them down a bit so there not that high.

Sixsixfour is the most detailed DIY that I have seen, I really didn't take any pictures of the instal. For wiring Deathmetal started a thread and my installer put his in on how he wired mine up. Here's the link: https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-problems-fixes-114/got-oem-fogs-need-some-help-wiring-782959/
