I decided to come home from school early because i was sick. i get home and parked on the opposite side of the street from my house. I didnt park on the same side of the street, where i ussually park because there is construction going on and i didnt want my car to get hit (irony).

As soon as i get home, i hear a loud crack write as my neighbor pulls out of her garage. My neighbor is a mid 40's mother that drives an 05 GMC Yukon. Turns out she hit my front bumper and left 2 cracks. see for yourself.

from the pics, do you think the front bumper will need to be replaced?
How much are stock front bumpers? and how much do RJ front bumpers run through acurazine (are they cheaper than they are on RJ's site? if so how much cheaper)?

 

luckily the damage isnt that bad.... my neighbor is not gonna go through her insurance, so i will be recieving cash to get the repair done. This is why i will possibly be able to by an rj front bumper.

 

the RJ kit is real expensive,is she really going to agree to buy you the kit or just the front piece....................I'm not really sure if they sell it like that,that will be sweet if she pays for the whole kit

 

sorry for the confusion. it would just be the front bumper of the RJ kit im pretty sure they sell the kit in seperate pieces. If they dont sell the pieces seperately i would not get it. She is only going to put in the price for a new OEM bumper and its cost of instillation, and i would pay the difference for the RJ front bumper.

 

any damage slight or severe, makes me cringe... sorry it happened man. seems to happen to everyone at one point or another...just sux.

i think im going to just go with a new stock front bumper, its just easier for insurance reasons, and my neighbor has decided to go through her insurance

yeah, i think im just gonna stick with stock tho...

btw its getting fixed tomorrow, but what sux is that it will take 3 days. i wont have a car for 3 days since you cant be insured under a rental if you are under 18. so 3 days without a car.
