no, I think they were +18 front & 18x9 +38 - 15mm spacer = +23 rear

from what I recall, I think that's right. Wheels didn't stay on too long due to the agressive fitment. Rode like shit so I sold them

So what do all these "aggressive" TL's posted have in common?

1. Drop
2. new shoes
3. tint
4. clear corners
5. Aspec kit .. or TLS front.

These are just the standard mods for the car... To answer the OP's question as the -most- aggressive I vote accuratein. Other cars I would admire as they drive by, but only his, so far that I've seen, would I move out of the way for him to pass...

Nice wide wheels with low offsets and the car has to be lowww. Only then so I, personally, call a car "Aggressive." Aspec kit, headlights, blah blah are all just extras, imo.

And the correct tire size, as well. You need to make sure you run the right tire size. Beefy, if you plan to have a track/race-aggressive stance, or a bit stretched, if you want that VIP/exotic-aggressive stance. Beefy tires on a VIP looking wheel can ruin the whole image.

Well put my friend. Agressive is all about the stance of the car. SLAMMED on some CRAZY offsets and sizes, PUSHING the limits to its max. for instance me, slammed as far as my suspension can go with crazy low offsets, rolled and pulled fenders and still rubbin those 215's! hahahahhaha

The TL just doesnt look right with the "VIP" look...it doesnt have that big body appearance like the 2G, which can pull it off IMO. Ive seen a lot of attempts in the last years but none of them really work...the 3G body-style is too sporty and compact for the slammed with stretched tires look.

as for me..
im going for the vip look
i think the 2nd gen and the 3rd gen is sporty, luxury cars, its not that really compact.... i think the stretched tire look is sick on any luxuryish car
well thats my opinion
everyone has their own opinion
just thought id throw it in...
maybe if there was more parts for the 3rd gen it woulda been better but there arent really any parts except for ricer parts

I agree, the 3G needs more performance parts(although we pretty much have everything short of a turbo setup)...but I always thought of those "VIP parts" as pretty ricer. Window curtains? Jeweled shiftknobs? Wine holder? Just looking at the Garson/DAD site made me laugh out loud. I think i'd just buy a stock CL600 instead of dropping $10k on a riced out interior full of stick on luxury parts. Just my

Try "Flitz metal polish". Your local auto store should carry them.

If not, then go with adams metal polish

Use # 1, if its somewhat crusty (has higher cutting action). If you have been taking care of the aluminum surface on a regular basis then #2 should be fine.
