ill never understand why the first thing everyone always yells in these kinda threads is "lowerrrrr!" "Moar lows dude". i think it looks great the way it is AND it is still drive-able. he doesnt have to pucker up his asshole every time he hits a little bump in the road...

because when u go lower it compliments the ride alot more nicer.

and with that stance he could pull it off and make it look even better then it does now

....because it takes lowering to fully pull off aftermarket wheels. Why do you think he stretched his tires?

Bad-ass choice my friend, keep up the good work.

Thanks guys!!.. i'm not sure about going more lower, but i can maybe only go another 0.5" lower and still get up my driveway. I also plan on getting the A-Spec kit too and i don't want to be scraping the front end left and right...

you chose the perfect offset for a stockbody tl, now you just gotta get the perfect ride height!

when entering my driveway it starts off as an incline, This incline is almost the length of the car, the driveway than levels off after the incline. This is the part where I'm afraid ill scrap the underbody of the car. I can't go at an angle neither because my driveway is very narrow. I have to actually hold the door and squeeze out of the car to get out. I can park on the incline after when and if i go lower, but i don't think that's best for the car. As for parking in the street that i will never do lol

approach your driveway like a parallel park
when i first dropped my car I had alot of problems getting into my garage on my college house because i had no idea how to make it up this driveway and pulled in stupidly like this

i then would parallel park my car first and then turn the wheel all the way and get onto the driveway without one scrape. As soon as you have both wheels on the driveway and youre parallel you can crank the wheel all the way and make it up most driveways

hey as you can see below.. i cant really do that parallel parking method because most of the times cars are always parked upto where the red lines are... and i cant do it from the right side if that space is open because that sidewalk is raised.. i can do it from the left side and i have when the space is open but thats not the real problem ...the real problem is when i go up the hill like this pic below ..this is the amount of clearance i have now

no one is extreme like one of the guys down in southern cali with a Sedan accord...

he has to take his front bumper off everytime he comes in for the night and before he leaves for the day...

takes him 5 minutes to do it when he said that I was like

lowest point on the car to the floor is 2.5" so i think 1" or another 1.5" is safe.. i still need to worry about the bumps on the road and gas stations lol but we shall see after i get the aspec kit

cant block the sidewalk thats a ticket

but im guessing you would scrape on the second part right? the one next to the street looks pretty easy to get up. Parallel is not an option for u. BUT you can go to home depot and buy some wood get them to cut it to the size you want and u can place it under the front wheels everytime you are going up. Thats how I have to get my car onto lifts.

I'm considering these use Volk GT-V's, but I wish they were a lower offset:

Guys i think ill be staying at this height for a while. The piece under the bumper scrapes when I'm going into my driveway backwards. Sometimes i have to go in backwards because the street is so tight and cars are almost always blocking parts of my driveway. So its the only way to get in. Imagine how much ill be scraping when i get the A-Spec.

Well, my other option at this price point is Stern ST-1. Good price but they are heavy and not the same quality as Volks. Maybe I just go with good ol A-Specs.

But seriously, I really don't think your car needs to be dropped any further. Looks perfect how it is.

Car & wheels looks nice . Man your driveway is a super tight fit, no room at all . Believe it or not, I'm lowered to 1 finger (tire to fender gap) f/r and I don't scape my front Aspec lip at all. I scape that plastic cooling piece on the bottom of the car more than anything. Take those inclines & ect slow and you should be fine.
