After 12 hours worth of driving and 700+ miles later..

I finally became part of the ATLP family, woohoo!! Yesterday my gf, my black pug Dodger and I drove up from Rancho Cucamonga all the up to Gilroy to pick up my ATLP Base Exhaust from Tony (Hongda), roughly a 5 1/2 to 6 hr drive one way. The price he was letting it go for was to low to pass up and since I've wanted this exhaust since before one was even made, I decided to make the one day adventure. And let me tell you it was worth every single mile because this exhaust is absolutely beautiful and sounds even better (can't wait for my AEM V2 to arrive next week, then it will roar!!). Enough of the jibber jabber, here are a few pics, enjoy!!

^^^^at this point my heart was fluttering like a little school girl^^^^

^^^^^^That is one sexy ass!!^^^^^^

^^^^^^Finally a rear side shot with a ATLP ^^^^

I want to thank Tony for meeting me and waiting around the extra 20 min. , don't worry your ex-exhaust is in excellent hands. Thanks for looking!!

Weird? No. But I have thought about that (spray painting the inside), actually I even considered P/C'ing the mufflers and tips a flat black, but if I did that then the laser etched ATLP would disappear..and that can't happen.

i also thought the dual holes looked weird from the pics and was contemplating ordering it prepainted. but trust me, shit looks so bad ass in person. the cans are way bigger than they look in pics, and, especially if youre dumped, the exhaust looks mean as hell from the straight rear because of the dual.

Most people did not paint the inside thinking that it will do so itself with the carbon deposits over time, I actually painted mine right away and here is how it looks.

If you are thinking about doing that then here are a few pictures to give you an idea as to how the flat black mufflers etc would look.

Although at times I do wish I got NBP since every car I've owned has pretty much been black, but with the TL I wanted to go a different route. I agree AM FTW!!

Yea I love the way it sounds too, I think I've wasted a tank of gas just because I want to go driving more . I do love my AM but your NBP/Camel combo is off the hook.

Thanks!!

He didn't want to ship it he was afraid it would get damaged, local pick up only. Even if gas was a little higher the price was too good to pass up. Plus, I didn't take the TL, we drove my gf 4 cylinder Accord, way better in MPG, only spent $80 on gas for the whole trip.

^^^^This looks VERY, VERY clean. It is very true that blackening out the inside of the tip gives the rear view a much better look. Also, i never thought blackening out the whole exhaust would look good....but it does, REALLY good.

Nice exhaust!

Josh, The exhaust looks great on your AM. I am sad to let it go but it makes me feel at ease knowing it's in good hands and to someone that appreciates this quality exhaust from ATLP Lab. The exhaust was barely broken in so the more miles you put on it and more performance mods you add the better and meaner it'll sound.

Next trip up north better be in the TL.

Thanks Tony, I can't say enough about this exhaust, the quality is superb. Between the sound and the hp gain (butt dyno), driving my car now has become so much more enjoyable and I can't wait to put more miles on the exhaust. I hope to get a jpipe and test pipe soon, then it will rumble for sure. However, I'm waiting for my AEM V2 CAI to come in the mail next week, so that will help with the sound. Anyways, thanks for meeting up with me and selling me this great exhaust at a unbelievable price.

Next time I go up North I'll definitely drive the TL.

I have to vote for painting the inside like JnC did. It looks at least 10x better.
