I really want to do this since the accord fog lights on eBay are so cheap, but reading some of the posts about the plastic melting is making me think twice. Maybe if I can find some cheap OEM's, I'll give it a try.

I'm interested in this. Do all the wires that are needed to install them come with the lights?

K2motors.com has the fogs with glass lenses.
Kit comes with all wiring, relays and switches. Standard halogen bulbs are H11. I replaced mine with a 35W 5000K HID kit from DDMTuning.com.

Thanks for the info. Just to clarify, the link is k2motor.com without the s. The other one went to a search engine. I might just have to order from these guys. I can't really tell in the pic, but are your fogs brighter than the headlights?

I could swear they are glass, but either way, mine have been going strong for a year now running the 35W HIDs.
I don't know if they are brighter than the headlights, but they are crazy bright!

Anyone have pictures of the fogs w/ tint.

i am like roger, the glare is crazy. But, it might be more on my because i have a 55w 6000K in them. i will have to readjust mine because they are aimed to far to the sides. but, then again i have 55w also in the upper fogs.

I've tried that and thought they were glass, but I may be wrong. Like I said, they are still going strong after a year---no problems at all.

Just buy the H11 kit from our sponsor here on azine, HIDXTRA and its I believe $60 shipped. Its perfect and is proven better than any other kit. This is the kit I use when I install these on peoples cars.

Better how? In terms of glare?

I have 5 kits so far no issues what so ever over 2 years and they are all DDM, but I have alot of glare from my accord fog retro and I bought the real Honda accord fogs they have the glare shield

While HIDExtra probably makes good stuff (I have not used them), I take exception to the statement "proven better than any other kit". I can vouch for DDMTuning. Their Raptor kits are cheap, easy to install and last.
As far as glare, any HID retrofitted into something designed for halogen bulbs will produce glare---just the nature of the beast.

Since you got experience from DDM tuning, when you order the HID kits from them do we need to put in for the HID harness and the error eliminator?

Jenny - Yes it will fit you just got to do some modification of the lower grills.

I used their harness, but not the eliminator. I have used both the Raptor and Slim Ballast kits.

Get the harness. The kits do not include the harness. The error eliminator is not needed.
