only took a few hours, used a diy on here baked them for like 20 min at 200degres. I also used krylon plasic paint so it worked on the internals flawlessly.

Pretty simple mod, I did some other things to the car at the same time also. Time for some wheels tho.

Question for you guys with the 3/4" switchbacks. Installed mine this past weekend, for some reason, the left side does not light up when I lock/unlock the car, right side does normally. The light turns to white though when I turn the parking lights on, and it flashes orange normally. Any ideas? I am thinking about turning the bulb around 180 degrees, dont know if that will help though.

Any thoughts?

What's everyone's opinion to go clear or black on a silver TL? It looks to me that certain applications work better depending on what color car you have.

Do the "in-between" route and mask it off. Its seems like pain in the ass at first, but makes the headlight more evenly blacked out IMHO instead of the whole turn signal housing just being chrome while the rest is black! It also doesn't visibly cut light output.

Please dont mind the finger prints... I cleaned those off before installing them.

I have a 2G TL. One of the headlights fogs up when it rains which is what it does every day in South Florida. I thought I might black them out to hide the fogging.

Is there a kit I can purchase to black the headlights out? Like a window tint kit??

I wouldn't do that. That would look wierd on a Silver TL. My vote is for half cleared/blacked out. You already have blacked out lenses as you have a TL-S. Now you just need to remove that amber corner and you're set. You'll probably need to paint that small chunk but I think a "search" may answer that question better.

BTW, I just remembered you sent me a PM awhile back. Sorry I forgot to reply. I believe if you get in touch with Eric, he was setting up a group clear out headlight get together (wow sounds really nerdy) back in June but I don't think it ever happened. I cleared mine out in my house and it took about a day starting around 10am.
