36 C's are on :)

Hello everyone,

I did my annual LA drive and arrived safely 6 days ago (22 hour straight drive from Vancouver to LA). Here are some pix prior to my trip:

Her "36 C's" protect her every yearly trip!

I bring to you: "Princess Fiona" haha!!!

I'm definitely enjoying this California living, and keeping my eyes peeled in the Black market section for stuff!!!

Just a question for you SoCal people's...my brother here needs new tires real bad for his mini cooper...just wondering if you guys could recommend a good shop (and good price) down here. Your help would be deeply appreciated, and i could help my lil bro out by saving money The size is 205/45/17

check out tire central in San Gabriel if you're close by. Got my Hankook Evo V12s for like $118 each including mounting and balancing.

My goodness 22 hour straight drive...
I just came back from North Carolina I drove 6 hours straight and I felt like I could fall asleep at any moment! You could probably do that drive with your eyes closed. Glad you arrive safely man.

22 hours! That's a nice long trip, what did you average for MPG?

Thanks Anthrakites It's always a wonderful drive, and everytime she's all "taped" up like that, reminds me of shrek, lol!

Anyways, I'm too lazy to google the calculations 'cause it's in litres...but anyways, i got 6L/100 kms; Average speed was around 99 km (i was going 120 km/hr "driving miss daisy") The first 2 times i drove the TL here, i got as low as 5L/100 km

good prep before driving down there. you mean you didn't even stop your TL for a few hours to cool down? 22 hours straight are quite hard on your car and yourself. I guess you would have to if you were in a rush.

I drove from Toronto to Vancouver when I moved here. Planned a nice and comfortable schedule for me and my wife together.

Thanks lights Definitely a long drive; i stopped in rest areas to have a walk and stretch my legs (and have a butt), or when i stop to eat...but that's pretty much it. I'm normally not in a hurry...but my comfort zone is on the road (cause i'm by myself). Hopefully, the car will be ok...seems to be ok. I haven't driven across canada yet...maybe i should.

Thanks Kix Yeah all those things we encounter while doin a long drive...definitely important to be alert (monster drinks normally work for me), but i know my limits, if i'm feelin tired, i stop at a rest area (the crazy thing is once i'm there, i can't close my eyes...so i end up going back on the road, lol!)

I'm not 100% sure if you could fit a bra on a "TypeS Aspec"...however, i know the bottom hooks have a stretchable material (or you could even swap it with a longer elastic hook...but you have to have some stitching skills). I have the "Base Aspec" so it's not as bulky...sorry i can't give you a definite answer. Maybe someone could chime in...but i will give the bra credit...cause considering i've done this drive many times...the bumper is in 99% condition

Thanks for verifying that steven...however, i did modify the bra for my "Base" Aspec (by taking off the far corner hooks *on both sides*), and it works for me.

Wow, good to know, Rox. If I get an Aspec Kit/Lip, I can do that to mine then too.
