2008 kbp tl-s 5at wip
Hey guys, been lurking here for a while and seen some cool mods that I want to do to my car. I just recently traded in my 99 1G TL for a 08 3G TL Type S KBP. I'm located in Toronto, and this car was really hard to find. I have yet to see another with a full skirt package. After three weeks of paper work, (there was a lien on the car from Honda Financing that they had trouble releasing), here she is:
Out with the old and in with the new.

I'm planning on sending in my lights to JnC to get them modified, maybe next summer. I've heard a lot of good things, hopefully his work will withstand Canada's winters.

You can also try to PM user "Supercomputers" to see if he may have any spare parts laying around, but that is iffy at best.
Nice car---congratz!

Thnx everyone. I'll try to keep an eye out at the blackmarket for those sills, it'd be a great addition to my car.
I also just received this in the mail today
Gonna be spending the whole day tomorrow detailing the car and installing the spoiler. Also ordered the rain guards for the doors, they should be here within the week.

Welcome to the forums!
It's awesome [and sad] to say that mostof the TLs in Canada are from GTA.
Finding used 3G TLs with the full skirt for sale is indeed rare! Congrats on the find and great color too!
Check out the Eastern Canada Regions for some meet-n-greets. Scarbs is pretty far---but there is a weekly meet at Square One in Mississauga every wednesday night with TAC and Azine members.

Update!
Installed the wind deflectors and roof spoiler. Also just got in the D2S kit from HIDextra, some Nokya Hyper Yellow Fogs and the KP Tech Window roll up module. Hopefully, I'll have them all installed by Thursday. But for now, here are some pics. (little crappy cuz of the shade from my house, but it keeps the car cool)
anyone else with a 08 KBP TL-S in Toronto with a kit, please chime in, cuz so far I haven't seen a single one on the road, would like to know if im the only one with it here, cuz that would make it pretty special

I'm also trying to find a set of rims for it, but I can't seem to find a set that fits this car properly. It's mainly because of the car's color. Multi-spoke rims seem too vip and 5 spoke rims look too riced out, anyone got a good suggestion? The closest I've come to are either the Axis Shine or Work VS-XX.

I just put in a K&N filter today, the car feels so much more responsive. The old filter was completely black, seems like they haven't changed it since the car came out of the showroom. The question I have is, with the K&N Filter, do I need that K&N Filter spray in order for it to work properly?

My friends and I pitched in $500 for cleaning products off of autogeek.net including a porter and Sonax, and a pressure washer from canadian tire. Just spent 6 hours doing a wash > soap > claybar > wax > sealant = result

@lights: I have a blue license plate cover (only on the rear license plate, front plate is uncovered) and havn't been pulled over yet
Not to mention mine is matte and not glossy smooth, making it harder to see the plate
I can't even make out the expire sticker standing 3 feet away from the car.
I'm going to take it off, though.
It came with my car when I bought it, so I'll try that as an excuse if I ever do get pulled over.
Detail looks great Ch33sE1!
What products did you use?
Also, you kept the license plate from your previous car?
