Accuratein got hosed! Thanks Eric and Ty, I was very surprised when I was told that I placed.

 

I think they place the names in a bag and draw 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.

...the blue 2nd gen was placed in the street catergory while Henryk's 3rd gen was placed in the custom category.

...So its a tossup as to which cars are awarded.

Theoretically, you can have maybe only an intake and rims and place 1st and have another car in the same category with 100+ mods and that car won't even place.

That doesn't make sense. If the two cars are truly that different, they should be in different categories. That's like having a Ferrari race a Pinto followed by a Porsche vs. a Rabbit...common sense tells you what the pairings should be.

 

If you would have entered your TL in the show and parked it beside mine and Henryk's then you could have very well placed above either one of ours.

I don't think the judges have any criteria to judge by other than your name on the sticker and what type of car it is.

I think its hilarious!

 

sorry man after my last results with a long trip and lots of driving at once I am not making a long trip like that for a while or maybe ever in one or maybe even two days by myself.

The judging, I agree with you, they were shitty at it. I think they do just pull names out of their asses, i mean hat, and thats who gets picked. The guy who won first place in my category had these ugly ass rims, it was a stock sedan with not much done to it, no originality whatsoever.

Thats why I don't bother with entering...I just go to see what else is out there and get ideas and inspiration...lol..

 

...nah man its just a trophy. And the trophies arent even personalized at that. Next year we'll get every Acura in the area to enter the show!!

Hey ACCURATEin , I was watching the Speed channle and the Nopi Nationals from Atlanta came on. In the intro to the show, they were showing quick shots of the cars and what not and guess what?? I saw your car for like a split second. hahaha thought it was kinda cool that I saw your car on tv. Anyway did you see Luda preform? lol
