JDM has been played out by the ricers and the companies who exploit that marker to make a quick buck. JDM used to be used in respect, and reverence. Ricers destroyed all of that. Look at my friend Jason's JDM Civic hatch; he imported a true RHD JDM SiR-G and swapped everything into his USDM. Midori Green, all genuine SiR-G parts with a K20 swap running 13.1 all motor on street tires. Now that's a car worthy of the true meaning of JDM. His car was so authentically (except it was LHD) JDM that at the HIN in Chicago earlier this year, the judges wanted to create a new category for best JDM car out of respect and awe for Jason. So don't talk to me about JDM.
