It's allright dude!

You are correct about the transmission choice within my TL...I was impatient and did not want to wait for the 6 speed. At the time i did not know how much more potential there is with the 6MT version. (2 years later i've learned there is a big difference.)

Just don't call a vehicle rice due to the fact it has an automatic transmission...thanks!

Just my thought. . you should get the smoked out license plate cover (rear one, is it illegal? I have no clue). And, doesn't HKS have the bigger exhaust than your current one? It's the Carbon Ti right?

BTW, your car ROCKS!
I loved your car since you first started modding it.

Eric,

Nice pics as always!!

I noticed you are running 235's for your fronts and 245 for the rear?? I was thinking of doing the same because 235 will clear rubbing for the front and beef up the rear with 245's. I was thinking of doing 255/30/19's for the rear?? I don't know if that would be a good idea though. However, do you clear rubbing with 245's in the rear??

No, didn't make to HIN...some things came up and that whole weekend got ruined...that's the way it goes sometimes...

And that's true, I can see it in person (on a daily basis, depending on how I drive home). From that list, the only things I haven't seen are the rear Sparco's and the mirrors. Everything else looks awesome, so I'm sure they look good! If they tell you at work someone's poking around your car, it's just me

Thanks for the comments bro! I've got the smaller version muffler on the car. I keep telling myself i'm going to go with the larger one but i keep putting it off.

Thanks Ed!

The reason i have 245s on the rear are simply because there were 2 of them in stock in the warehouse where i work. I figured they would work just fine after seeing everyone on acurazine running massive tire sizes.

Surprisingly i dont experience any rubbing with the tein ss dampers and the 245s in the rear. There is another inch of adjustment left.

The investment and upgrades personifies how passionate you are about your car. Good job! I'm not feeling the single muffler and the canards. Otherwise, everything looks great. Congrats on the 2year anniversary. Definitely a great project and thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the comment! You're correct..i am definitely passionate about the TL. Ever since the first time i seen the commercial for the car back in November of 03 i was in love with it. I have no intentions of selling the car and will drive it til the wheels fall off. I assume you're an architect which is pretty cool...i used to draw houses and floorplans when i was younger...i should have pursued it.

yo personally i love the way your car looks....some may call it rice but i call it a show car and im sure thats wat you built it for......the car looks real hot i think if you make the Spoiler black or CF it would not stand out as much as it does now so you wouldnt really notice it was there.......the only thing i would have to give into and say im not feelin is the stickers but other than that your car is official and look hot.....were you at HIN in Jersey??....i didnt see your car there i heard rumors u might go and some said u might not lol but anyway people are going to say your car looks like rice because it doesnt look like all the other TL's here and thats wat i always tell ZeRo over on the second gen side of the forum.......if the two of you were at a meet with over 100 other TL's kitted out rimmed up and all that you two would be the only two to stand out because your cars look DIFFERENT and not like the generic hooked up TL.....same kit....rims....drop!!......... keep it up man

Thanks for the comments!

..I'll end up getting the CF decklid spoiler (or maybe one of those monstrous 2 level wings).

HIN Atlantic city...i didn't make it to that show because i was on a cruise ship the week before. After looking at the show coverage pictures it seems like there were a lot of nice cars in the show.

And yeah i strive to be different with the mods i've done, and it shows. Someones gotta do it!

Did you happen to make it to SEMA IAS last year or this past?

Not feeling it:
* canards
* two tone (although it's a really cool idea)
* single exhaust (but then again, it's b/c i like symmetry ; love the
exhaust itself though)

Obviously you put a lot of time, effort, and money into your car, and it's definitely unique! Keep up the good work.

hey eric, yeah try and post a pic of the rear seats. I've only seen the interior when you only had your front seats done. Still one of my favorite TL's.

accuratein makes some wild design choices but let's not forget that true "rice" is modifying the appearance of the car only to look fast and wild.... but accuratein has made just about every performance mod you can think of, not to mention coming up with new ideas and trying new things before anyone else dared.

I dunno man. Now-a-days, apparently if you drive an automatic, you are instantly classified as "rice".

Thanks bro! She's been a long time in the making and still not done yet. I seen your previous car with the gold LE28s. One of my friends has one with bronze CE28s white w/ CF hood.

I don't think I have any interior shots after lookin through all the pictures in my computer. Colts might have some that he took with his baller camera.

I don't think i have a picture of the rears. It might be because its unfinished and don't wanna show it until its done.

booooo! haha, j/k. I can understand.....gotta get the rear seat area looking clean first.

It's coming along ok, just haven't had the extra cash to mod it more. Trying to get it paid off before the end of the year, then maybe by next summer, catch up to all you high rollers with the superchargers haha!
