15 LED Board Map and Dome Lights

I finally upgraded the interior lights to LEDs. Got these 15 LED boards for the dome and map lights. Have some 4 LED bulbs on the way to switch out the door panels. These are white LEDs. Took all the pics without flash so for some reason they look blue in the pics.

Came with three adapters.

I rounded the edges for a better fit

Came with 3M tape on the back for easy install

Difference between the new and the old

Both sides in

Rear done

Took this pic in complete dark garage with no flash and i do have tints.

That's nice! I just did the maplights myself, I went with 9 LED boards to try it out and decided it was too blinding. So i'll just throw the boards in the rear domes and install small bulbs with 7 leds each for maplights.
If you don't mind me asking, where'd you get those 15 led boards, as I'm looking to use one of those for the trunk

Got em off of ebay but this board wont fit in the factory housing. I tried it cuz i wanted to order more to put in the trunk and for my accord. They were a lot cheaper than most i have seen. The adapters were kinda cheep but you cant beat it for 6.69 a board shipped.

That doesn't really look white.

That is almost borderline blue.

This is what I got and this pic is also with flash...

If i use the flash i will get a similar pic like yours but I took the pics without flash. It was the camera that was showing it blue. Changed the ISO to fix that issue. here are some new pics. These are also without flash.

Wait woah?

Mine is without flash...

You can see that it is without flash because of the shadows in the corners of the picture...

That is a really bad post on my behalf :selffacepalm: I'm sure that your pics do not serve the lights justice.

Maybe this will give a better idea of the brightness and color. Again these are in complete darkness. I couldnt find my tripod for my DSLR so pics are a little shaky.

IMO those are just a little too bright. I would have gone with something a little darker or less lighhs. Although I would also like to see blue. Overall nicely done.

No different sellers. Had to wait a long time for it to come from Hong Kong but the price made it well worth it. Here are the links to both items.

$2.79 shipped for a pair

I didn't think of those, but that's a great idea. I've got regular red bulbs in mine (for the Type S).

You can try these. These would be hell of a lot brighter than the ones i have. Bigger LEDs and 5 of em.

When you change to the LED bulbs, does it change the rate in which they dim? They look good though, already ordered the 194 bulbs (a whole bunch for my TL and my Celica....)

Thanks,

Nate

It still has a pretty good fade and no flickering. I dont remember at what rate it used to dim before i am just glad that it still has fade effect.

Zsameer, these are a straight swap out too for the OEM bulbs, isn't that correct?

will these fit in a '02 TL? Also, are they turned off and by the cars switches or do you have to use the buttons that comes with LED's?

I have ordered new 9 led bulbs for the door panel in blue. going to probably put a reflective material in the back for good light output. Regular bulb works good in there without any reflective material but leds not so much. Will post the pics when I get them in.

How was the light output with the 4 LED light's you had in the door? Reason I ask...is because I just now finished my order for everything
