Well that type-S probable cost around 40k something, and with just 4,700 k miles on it, I would go down to 30, no more than that.

people were gettin them for about 32.5k new before the 4g came out. however it does have a lot of mods on it, i think 35k would be achievable, but youd have to find the right buyer. the molded kit is niceeeee though.

I think 35K is a real good price for that car... IMHO... specially with the Low Miles and all the custom body work done to it... I doubt that the body work was strictly bondo, if so, it would have been cracking all over the place. Specially since he's been driving the car through NYC Tristate Area...

Mods usually make a car depreciate.....and custom work like that would cause it to tank.

 

so true... reminds me of my friends sti... he had modded his car thinking his trade in value would like 10k more then his trade in value, with all his mods they offered him 6k below trade in value...

haha no way would I pay that much money for that car. he took a new car and did a bunch of useless mods to it like shaved door handles. Thus painting a brand new car. FTL. And the trunk FTL. molded kit is nice tho but not woth that much money for sure

see, one thing i took into consideration while modifying my TL was... when i'm done, i part everything out... get back maybe 60% of that money... and then sell the car for what its worth... every SINGLE mod i did, is COMPLETELY reversible...

people are right bro... a modded car "does" depricate in value to like 90% of the people out there... if you are lucky, you'll find one rich kid who's parents will buy it for him... if not, sell what you can to recover the losses

a dealer would probably give you about 28k for the car (GALS) in stock form since your miles are so low... but if you rolled up with the doors shaved and all that, they'll probably only give you 24k ... just my
