Thanks!! I really appreciate the !!
You know, I felt the same way about the Type S wheels...........just looked weird to me..........UNTIL I SAW HER!!!!
The CBP looks great with the Type S wheels IMO. The A-Spec Body Kit also "adds" to the look..............but now............I got some new rubber for those wheels.
I changed out the stock Michelins.............that the above pics show, so I will have to do another outside photo shoot with the new tires. But here are some quick pics of the new tires.
Take a look..............Falken FK 452 (245/45/17)

I was looking at the WDP, KBP and NBP too. Here in Vegas, Black cars can MELT in the Summer.........Kinetic Blue was cool, White Diamond Pearl looked great too.

But once I saw the CBP + Taupe/Black interior...........I was SOLD. This color is SOOOOOO METALLIC in the sun!!! Plus, the Type S wheels look great on this color.

Thanks for the DIGG!!!

I can't.......... . I leased my Type S.........Acura will only allow me to use the $$$$ A-Spec suspension on a LEASE. Too much $$$$ to just "give it back" to the dealer in 3 years. It would look good, tho.

NICE. The CBP is a GREAT color..........I like it more and more each day!!
You should look into the A-Spec Body Kit..........it's about $775 - $800 shipped to you.

I sorta took one with the Silver Stars in............it's the above pic with the DRLs on.
The MTEC Fog bulbs went in today.............I will snap a pic later & post it. The Silver Stars are better vs stock........but not by that much.........still look "yellowish".
I would suggest a better bulb..........like the MTEC in a 9005 size.
The MTEC Super White Fogs (4350K) look REAL GOOD. These match the HID headlights very well...........I will post a pic soon.

Very nice, I love CBP Type S, the wheels go perfect with the color. I have the same color, but I have the ebony/silver interior, I want to add the A-spec, but I don't know if it does much of a difference to spend over 1k for the whole mod. I'm still undecided.

yeah..see im not sure if i want to go for the yellow jdm look or for the white look. im changing the headlights to 6000k Kaixens, but im still undecided if i want to go for purpose with the fogs or for looks..

and as for the DRLs..i dunno..just trying to get rid of the yellow..

I agree that CBP does the Type S wheels justice.

Post some interior pics if you get a chance.

Have you thought about doing the door handle mod?

I can take some more pics of the interior..........no prob. Door handle mod??? What's that??
Yeah...........I actually get a lot of people (non Acura owners) ask me where I got wheels to match the color of my car!! I tell them........these are stock wheels..........and most don't believe me.

I really like the Type S wheels + CBP.

The door handle mod involves swapping out the 'cap' that covers the lock on the driver's side front door handle with the part designed for the driver's side rear door handle. Makes it look more streamlined. Here is a thread.

Congrats on the CBP TL Type S you have!! Make sure you post some pics!!

Try to do a "BEFORE" & "AFTER" photo shoot. I forgot, now it's too late.

We will have to do a "CBP Photo gallery" once we get enough Aziners to take photos & post!!!

ps,
The A-Spec Body Kit looks GREAT once it is FULLY done and on the Type S. This really makes it more SINISTER!!

Did you get your Progress 24mm RSB yet?? If not, this is a MUST for handling!! Myself and other Aziners have posted pics & threads about it. REALLY does wonders for the cornering feel & overall handling!!

Enjoy your ride!!!!

I've been looking into that rear sway bar for sometime now just really waiting til it get warmer. I have the comtech short thorw shifter sitting in the glove box now for like 2 months now
I'm still debating on getting new wheels or doing the 255/40 for the stockers
but I was quoted at 800 a wheel for these staggered ones i wanted w/ a 5" rear lip

I vote for the Progress RSB + 255/40 SUMMER TREADS = MAJOR improvement in handling!!
I got the Falken FK 452s (245/45/17) installed about 5 days ago, they are GREAT. I am sure they will IMPROVE once they are broken in a little more.
**If you want to see pics.........I posted some under Falken FK 452s for my Type S!! (look under tires, wheels & suspension mods)

Keep your stock Type S wheels, just "swap out" your tires for the Summer & Winter.

Looks real good - what tint did you do ? I have CBP and have been reluctant to tint because the CBP color. Some one at my company tinted their windows and it was too dark for the CBP color - dark tint is a no brainer with white, silver or black but on the CBP, there is a fine line.

Your tint looks very nice on the CBP.

I kinda "goofed" with my tint choice. Well, actually, the DEALER "goofed"........but it is a LEASE.......so I didn't get too bent out of shape.

It ended up 35% on the FRONT...........and 20% on the REAR & BACK WINDOW.

I wanted 35% ALL THE WAY AROUND............but it looks ok.

BTW, 35% all the way around would look HOT on the CBP..........IMO.
