Why can't you order the 07 TL lip instead of the big bulge? The front bumpers are the same on both...

YEP, already checked into this. I love the entire car, except from straight on. The 07 TL-S A-Spec front lip is WAY TOO BIG. I WILL JUMP on the next thing I see that is an improvement. But won't take off until I find that. Wheels are next anyways...

Emailed them. Looks like its a full lip kit, to be sold as a kit. Looks very nice though. Here's a link...

http://www.ronjonwheels.com/upcoming_products.html

Cost is $1250... Not bad!

Front doesn't look much different then stock. And the rear are only little

sides added an, not an entire rear wrap-around. I think the 07 TL-S A-Spec kit looks

fantastic except for the Steriod looking front lip.

Its the front lip on the new ronjon kit I really like, just what I've been looking for. However, I wonder if it can be ordered alone.

TypeS Badging

I tried to mimic euroR badging from jdm accords but it doesn't look as good. Badge is too thick and location to stick them on isn't supple.

TypeS Front Lip Kit vs Stock Front

Found this car at the PCC's Sylvania Campus. Took quick shots for comparison. The one without front kit is mine.

finish the kit

Both cars look hot..except I think you should finish the kit and get the Front installed. The front kit looks the best in white and black..doesn't look as bolted on as the other colors.

I've been saying all along, complete it! it's part of the A-Spec appearance package. the reason they make front under spoiler is so the entire body kit line flow. but it's your car, do as you wish overall, sweet ride

I kinda like it without the type s front lip! I think the type s front looks big and bulky and doesnt make the lower portion of the bumper any lower or different.

Heh... I really think it's gonna be WDP, Mink Car looks fantastic --- leave the front lip off. I'm sure the aftermarket will give us something better than the A-Spec. Hopefully, RJ will sell the front lip alone.

Btw... 6MT or 5AT?

probably i'll wait till RJ releases the kit for TypeS. i was about to install the ASpec front lip yesterday but after looking at the pictures again i decided not to do it. it looks too ugly especially in WDP. now i have to find a buyer to take away my Aspec front lip kit.

i chose 5AT because of heavy traffic where i live. it all depends on your driving style and location you live. also even 5AT is pretty damn fast compared to my fully modded tsx

Your car looks very nice! Even with the stock type s wheels. The color on those wheels complement the wdp perfect. All your mods look great! Good job.

Front A-Spec Lip Yay or Nay + Couple New Pictures

I'm still debating on front a-spec lip kit. I'm not a huge fan of chromes but I really like the TypeS's chrome trimming + mesh grille. Obviously this will be gone if front a-spec lip kit is installed. It'll be nice if I can set the poll within this thread.

Counts from previous posts so far...

Install and finish the front A-Spec Lipkit - 3

Leave it as it is or wait for RJ TypeS Front Lipkit - 9

Mink... I still like it w/o, but based on Ron's post on the kit, it doesn't look like it'll be out anytime soon since he doesn't technically have a manufacturer. How long can you go with a "naked" face? I love the trim around the stock front of the TL-S --- wish you didn't lose it by installing the A-Spec. It just sux that you have to drill to install too...

Meh... you know... looking at the pics up top again, when it's not a straight-on closeup, the kit doesn't look that bad...

drilling is the main reason i'm holding it off. if it wasn't the drilling i'd installed the lip since i can just rip it off when RJ kit comes out

and for the aspec kit. sometimes it looks good and sometimes it doesn't. depends on the angle your viewing the car.

Hmmm it seems to me we should do another PDX meet before the weather turns permanently crappy! Lemme know! Plus I like the bare front end compared to the aspec on the TL-S
