Nice choice of suspension. I believe we are the only two with H&R Coils that I've seen.

1.) Free for me! But 895 for you (+ install and applicable taxes)
2.) NICE! Very smooth. Not bouncy whatseover, unless the road is realllllly shitty.

To answer everybody about the rims....

I plan on powdercoating the factory units...color = secret!!! I am too stingy to buy rims. Saving for a new house.

When did you get them? I was the guinea pig for H&R - they gave me a free set and free install....you sure you were first? Or did you put the coilovers from the base model on?

I have ZERO issues with the suspension. No noises, etc... the only scraping is the air deflector underneath the engine.

I didnt think there would be a difference. But since he mentiones H&R test fit his car which i think its bull because the Acura TL Race cars are equiped with H&R so im sure they would have test fitted on those cars.

Call Steve at H&R and ask. I personally drove my car up and dropped it off at their shop in Bellingham for a week.

Also the part numbers for the Base and Type-S kit are different. Check the H&R website if you don't believe:
50105-2 (Type S)
50105 (Base)

Good news is, you don't have to believe. I'll keep rolling on my FREE set of H&R coilovers regardless.

According to some it's the same, but I doubt it. I will call and ask tomorrow.
