07-08 Mirrors installed on 06
Got both mirrors off ebay for about $60ea.. one silver and one anthracite. My buddy owns a body shop and painted them for $40 bux total!! Not bad, $160 bux invested in 2 signal mirrors. Since i have an 06 as previously posted the drivers side for whatever reason is pre wired so that was simple and easy. The pass side i think i did a little different and MUCH easier than what ive seen others do... the presumed useless white wire in the door harness ends up plugging into the mirrors stripped turn signal wire.. so to avoid running a wire to front turns or rear turns i got into the trunk and found the pass rear turn color is a white with 1 silver dash(IIRC), i then put trunk back together. Then removed the pass side trim that goes from the side of the seat and kick panel as well as the trim under the glove box to expose the harness that travels from back to front of car... i then simply cut open the first "T" section in the harness closest to the center of the car(for whatever reason that white with silver dash wire doesnt travel up to the kick panel, there are 2 "T" sections in the harness running up the side and i didnt see the rear signal wire turn in the first ""T" so it must turn and go towards the center of the car on the 2nd "T"). Located the very same white with silver dash and used a quick connect and ran a wire to the 3 sets of connectors(all 3 are white) junction or so i call it that is right above and in front of the amp in the kick panel... this is where that again presumed useless white wire from the door mirror harness connects to inside the car. I then tapped the other end of my wire into the white wire of the connector that faces towards pass seat and VOILA pass turn works and u dont have to run more than 2-3 ft of wire or go thru the door boot etc. Sorry i dont have pics but anyone doing this feel free to contact me and ill help as much as possible! This is not at all meant to be a write up

Nice Work. I wish I could have avoided that door boot. It was a pain in the ass to run wires through.
