Thanks for the comments. I have been trying do decide whether or not to do the A-spec body kit or not. I really think I like the car better without the kit but in the future who know's. I definitely have some performance mods to do first such as comptech exhaust, brakes, rsb and hopefully a s/c if the wifey doesn't kill me.

I am considering the A-spec body kit and was looking around on Ebay from Acura of Las Vegas for $859 + 65 for shipping. Has anyone here puchased the kit from them before? Just curious.

Sigh.....don't you know about the semi-permanent group buy from Tim at Ray Lacs Acura? $757 shipped. Here's the link.

http://www.hondacuraworld.com/Mercha...egory_Code=ATL

Click it and you're done.

BTW, I didn't like the A-Spec body kit at first, but with time it grew on me enough that when the GB came along, I bought. I just had mine installed today and it makes the car look different. It looks better in person than in pix.

Nice wheels and adding an A-spec kit will definately compliment the wheels.

neuronbob- Thanks for the link but it says it ends 3/23 is that not the case? Also how does the group buy work? I tried to add to "add to basket an it wouldn't. Sorry for the stupid questions but I have never participated in a group buy.

ed99-Thanks, Just as I start thinking I like the look of the car better without the kit I will see a picture I of a car that looks good with the body kit.

I think you have to call Tim at RayLaks directly to order the kit....his number is in the thread

Phesto is correct. Just call Tim directly, tell him you saw the deal on Acurazine, check the "thread", and there are several people interested (there are) and he'll hook you up. No worries.

The thread to which Phesto and I refer is here: https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=128696

The direct number is 1-888-729-5257.

G'luck! I'm a satisfied customer! (as you can see in my new mod thread)

Cool thanks, I guess since I am having a such hard time deciding if I like it better without the kit that means i want it. I will give him a call Monday to place the order hopefully I can still get it for that price. How long did it take to receive after you placed the order?

Thanks for the help. I just ordered the body kit (I hope I like it installed) online from Ray Laks. Everything went through according to the email and I got the group buy price as long as Tim doesn't call tomorrow and tell me I was too late. How long does it take to recieve it?

You'll like the A-Spec kit! I may be a little biased on that though.

Yeah I am excited now I think it will look good. The TL looks cleaner without it but much faster with it.

No they do not come with the "splash guards" from the factory they are a accessory. They are easy to remove for screws I think.

Thanks for the compliments. I am definitely happy with the outcome. I think it looks 100 times better with the body kit. Oh and I did the install myself.

definitely one of the nicer rims for the wdp. I'm still debating/hunting for the perfect ones for me. I think this may be the first wdp I've seen with the wing, thx for the pics. You really need to resize them before you upload them though, thats some serious pixelation hehe

btw, thats an unusual place for the aspec badge...its usually mounted lower. Still debating if I like it where you put it or in the standard spot...

Thanks for the compliments. The dealer mounted the A-spec badge in that location even after I requested them to leave it off. I'm thinking of debadging anyway but it has kinda grown on me in that spot it doesn't seem to look as busy as the standard location.

Sorry, I did need to resize the pics this should be better.
