'05 TL 6spd OEM to Aftermarket Wheels

I'm new to the forum and just purchased a 05 TL 6spd sedan. I previously owned an 1993 Acura Legend LS Coupe. Here are a few pics of the newly acquired TL. The car is pictured with OEM 17inch wheels that were replaced with 18inch RacingHart C4 wheels. Enjoy the pics.

Looks nice. Every time I see RRP on a TL I wonder if I should have gotten that color instead.

looks good ... what did you do with your legend?? ... in my head the 3g tl is the next legend in terms of styling (meaning it will always look good, and age very well) ... good decision with the 6mt

I'm in the process of purchasing a Kit for the TL as we speak.

I love the color of my car. I have not seen many with this color combo with the 6spd tranny.

Dropping the car is not in my immediate future. I like the OEM ride quality.

I sold the legend. It was smoking and i could not justify the cost of fixing it.

I love the red too. The Aspec kit will really finish off the look. Nice job of keeping the tires looking sharp.

One of my favorite colors on the TL. Post pics when you install A-spec kit. What size tires and offset on the wheels?

Looks sick man. I'm loving that color a lot. And it looks pretty mint! Nice buy especially with the 6SPD. Those things are pretty rare nowadays in TL's. To this day in my area. I havent seen another manual TL besides mine. Good choice. Loving the rims. It's a nice clean!!

Keep her clean! I'd like to see the Legend pics for sure!

Good lookin' car.

Interesting, to me, is that it changes the look from more sporty to more luxury. Not saying either is better, just neat to see how one thing changes the look of the car.

I do plan on installing the A-Spec Kit on my car. I'm still undecided whether i am going to get the Type-S tails.

These wheels are Racing Hart C4's. The C2's are the same style, but completely different.

Thanks, It is nice how a set of wheels and nothing else can completely change the look of a car.

Earl,

Its been a while man! I'm surprised you sold the coupe; It was in amazing shape when I saw it at the DMV meet in Springfield.

I sold my legend a couple years ago after someone hit me and totaled it; I just got a TL as well. Love the color on yours though.

Bump from the dead. Yea the legend coupe started smoking and needed valve seals. See you Saturday at the meet in Falls Church VA.

I'm not sure how I missed this thread but I love those wheels! Together with RRP, the car is unique to say the least. Whenever you get the A-Spec kit on, it will change the whole presence of the car! Here's a picture of a RRP I took last year:

So hawt

I see that you are on the list for the Great Falls meet tomorrow. I'll be leaving this afternoon after class to attend. I look forward to checking out your ride!

Why is it too cold to get tint? I've never heard that o my friend would shut his shop down during cold months. It's more convenient now as its easier to keep windows up for 2-3 days b4 rolling them down...lol. 35% would look nice. A gold wheel like work makes or true A-spec wheels would look nice too. Keep us updated on this nice TL-P.
