05 TL 06 STI 04 RX-8 Night Shoot
Just out with some buddies the other night, got some good pics. The STI has about 400 miles on it. Just got it saturday, the RX-8 just got the Racing Beat exhaust put on earlier that day.
Enjoy

haha...thanks! Thats one of my favorite places to take pictures. I needed a wider angle lense and about 10 more feet behind me (i was blocked by about 6 feet of shrubbery) so I could get a better shot, but oh well!

Haha....thanks guys!
The arches was a last minute thing. I was standing outside the "garage" and thought it would make for a cool picture, so i gave it a shot (no pun intended!)

haha....well, the STI definitely takes the cake, but I demolished the RX-8....he was so pissed he wanted to get a turbo kit. Then he found out they are about 5K and he said forget it!

STI's focus is function over form. Virtually everything on that car comes directly from the race-proven WRC STI. You might not like that spoiler, but others do... but more importantly, whether you like it or not, it is functional.
This isn't your typical ricer wing. This is wind-tunnel tested and race-proven. I suppose you're going to tell me next that the big spoilers on F1 cars are only functional as an ironing board, too.

ummmm...humor?
If you follow the thread, it simply was a humorous attempt following the previous poster's comment about functionality.
I am not challenging the aerodynamic value of the wing. I am certain is does all all the things you researched.
And should I see an F1 along side me (or likely passing me) on my daily commute on the public roads I will find that much more humorous than the wing being used to gut a catfish.
Boeing 777's have aerodynamic functionality too. I do not dispute that. I just don't expect to see one tooling around the local roads or in line at a stoplight.

ok ok....enough about the wing already. It's big, it's functional, and some people think it's ugly. Another buddy of mine wants to get an STI and take the wing off completely. He likes the clean look. It's all personal opinion. Lets just leave it at that.

Thanks guys! Look for another thread soon. We had a detail day yesterday and went out for a few quick pics after the bars last night. I will try to get them up today if I can.

cool! im no photographer but i play around with the camera as a hobby. so i know a bit from experience.
to get good pics, play around with the aperture, iso, wb, and shutter speed. im assuming with these pics you used a tripod.
low aperture = lots of depth of field, brighter pic
high aperture = requires more light, less depth of field
high iso = brighter pics, ---> more noise but able to get higher shutter speed to keep the pic sharp
low iso = good for day pics, less noise. requires more light
just a little tip i hope it helps
