05 ABP/Camel Navi with 18s - Opinions please!

Got some new rims for the ride this past weekend. Picked em up used actually. Looking for some opinions. I'm not 100% sure I like em or not. May end up selling em and puttin the stocks back on. Let me know what you think. Honest opinions please..

not bad, but I think it would look tons better with the a-spec body kit.

Yeah me too, haha. I saw them for sale locally and was able to get a real good deal on the rims/tires so I picked em up to see what they'd look like. I know I can always sell them and make a few bucks so they're just on trial right now..

Yeah the pin-stripe matches the camel interior of the car. I've had a few people say it would look better without it. I've kinda liked the pin-stripe since I've bought the car. It's got a nice Acura symbol on the rear quarter panels. Not sure if I'd want to chance removing it.

Probably right. I think that would be my next purchase for the car. We'll see.

I like them.. maybe instead of 19s (since you picked these up used and had no choice) you could drop it a little bit...

A small drop and the A-Spec kit would really set it off....

Hey, didn't you get your windows tinted with Formula One down in Venice? If so, how good were they? Did you use moleskin?

Sure did. They did a good job. I'd go back there again. I applied moleskin to every door before I got the windows tinted which wasn't such a great idea. The tinter uses digitally cut tint that is a perfect fit for the window. The moleskin got in the way on 2 of the windows and kept causing the tint to bubble at the bottom. He was able to push the moleskin down a little bit to get the tint to seal to the window. Because of this I removed the moleskin from these 2 windows as it was making streaks up the window everytime it was rolled up and down because of the sticky side being exposed a bit. I've yet to replace the moleskin on these 2 windows and one of them has a small scratch in the tint because of it, but the other is fine.

In ANY case, I'd definitely recommend the tinter. The guy that owns the shop and does the tinting himself is very professional, knows what he's doing, and takes care of you quickly. My tint was already cut when I got down there and I only had to wait about 45 mins to an hour for it to be completed and I was on my way. There was a Pinnacle tinter 30 minutes away from my home but their prices were outrageous. The Venice guy was in the $200 range for Pinnacle all around.

Yeah there's a bit of a story behind it. I ordered my car through a dealer online. The dealer is about 2 hours away. On delivery day I'm half-way to the dealer and the salesman calls to warn me that his pin-stripe guy accidentally put stripes on my car even though I hadn't requested them. He said not to be startled when I got there and saw the car and that if I wanted they'd remove them right away. When I got there and saw them I actually liked them so I told them to leave em. I actually have gotten some compliments on the acura symbol in the stripe on the rear quarter panels. Now with the chrome, however, I'm not sure they look so hot. I'm a bit afraid to go pulling them off, though. We'll see.

Not bad, I have the same kinda rims from my old car ... but the spokes are a lil more closer together. I had them on my 3G TL for a day and then took them off. I would say trade them in for some 19's or 20's. The body of the TL is too big and bulky for 18's and chrome for some reason makes them look smaller imo.

Just my

Wow, actually theyre alot nicer than I was expecting them to look like. I actually like them alot. I've seen alot of chrome 18s on TL's but it just doesnt look right, but these look hot. Keep em!

Not digging the pinstrip though, although it goes well with the camel, you cant really see the camel for the most part, it would have been better if it was silver to match the chrome rims?

going a bit lower would help no matter what.

the rims look fine even though they aren't 19's.

but if your not sure about them
that means you really don't like them enough.

your opinion is all that matters.

btw, i'm against pinstripes but yours looks good.
