Yet another Magnaflow exhaust.

I am happy with the way it turned out. Looks great with the Type-S rear.

Good sound, a bit of drone under throttle between 2-2.5k rpms.

The muffler outlets are visible on the outside tips. I think I may get in there with some black paint and paint them so they blend a bit more. I think it really adds to the back end of the car.

These are just the mufflers, this is not the tips. You would have to have it all welded on at a shop.

I have the high flow cats and the mid muffler delete. What I did would be considered a axle back install. All the work happened where the rear axle would have been located and back.

they look much better than stock muffler tips...the straight cut makes a difference, rather than being cut along the side of the bumper

normally i'm not a fan of wildly different exhaust tips from stock, but that looks fantastic

i'd be up for just swapping my tips and keeping my exhaust, as the stock power is just fine for me.

How does it sound? I am curious because I am looking to do a mid-muffler delete with a magnaflow res and mufflers, and I am still torn wether I want to keep my tips or get new ones.

I really like the sound. When first getting it the drone seemed excessive between 2.5 and 3k. But as I have driven it, it seams to have quieted down. The drone is still there, but not that bad. As for outside of the car. Not really sure, everyone that has heard it really likes it. I am pleased

I don't think you'll really have to, because the carbon will likely coat the outlets black.

Very nice! May I suggest that you buy a power cone and some mother's chrome polish so that they stay looking nice. I have a similar setup and the power cone makes the job effortless and only takes 5 minutes to do all four tips. Definitley worth the money.

Let's get a sound clip! Magnaflow is sex on these cars!

It has been several months since the install of the exhaust. So I thought I would give an update. It was fairly loud and had quite a bit of drone inside the car, it was ok at first, but got to be a bit annoying. So, I decided to add a resonator into the system where the pre-muffler used to be.

All I have to say is WOW, this cut out most of the drone. The resonator had raised baffle inside to break up the exhaust flow, but it was still a straight through pipe. With its location, I would guess that HP loss would be fairly low, which at this point, I am not all that worried about. I am more interested in get my quite car back while keeping the look.

Not all will agree with this due to the minor loss of power, but certainly makes it better for me.

And to the previous poster, sorry for the delay in the response, I am in North Alabama, Huntsville.

Sorry to bring this back almost 7 years later. Could you explain to me what you did?

Resonator for the mid muffler
Replaced both mufflers or just one?
Tips?

Thank you in advance
