So i did some looking around but could not really find anything comparing the xlr8 HFPC and the RV6 ones. I've got an rv6-v3 jpipe and am going to be getting XLR8 resonated exhaust soon, I was wondering if there is a big difference between the 2 different hfpc's and if one will be a little more beneficial to my set up vs the other one

 

The XLR8 one is the 3rd cat, which goes on the j pipe under the car. The first j pipes came with removable cats so you could get rid of it for a straight pipe and re install it for the annual inspection. Depending on the state, you may not need to worry, since the 3rd cat is an extra one anyway for some pollution certification that Acura went after, and not federal emissions.

The RV6 ones replace your primary cats. There are two, and bolt right to the heads, one per bank. Get these, since your j pipe already eliminated your 3rd cat anyway.

As FamilyGuy said, our V2 Jpipe deletes the third cat and is a separate system from the precats. In most states you can still pass inspection with our J-Pipe, but you are more likely to fail if you delete your precats.
