XLR8 Motor mounts better than innovate?

I was just lookin and saw the XLR8 motor mounts. they look better than the innovates because they are sealed on the sides so the bushings cant pop out. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with these since they are farely new...

Yes. In theory, the XLR8 should be better. But, it is not because the sides are "sealed". False logic there. It is because the XLR8 has more load bearing surface area to support the load. Plus, the Innovative Mounts has bushing material of questionable quality. XLR8 has made sure that his bushings have quality urethane.

now this is a logical post of why the xlr8 mounts are better than the innovative.

Can anyone attest to differently since the innovative mounts were re designed?

My xlr8 mounts are performing well, couple months now, they've broken in well, and have handled all the abuse I throw at them much better than the factory units. Engine and car are more stable, doesn't rock back and forth like before. Highly recommend

I've been looking at both of them back and forth for a while. All issues aside (donuting which doesn't seem to exist anymore plus you get a lifetime warranty and cracked welds) the XLR8 look to be the better choice and it's exactly because of what Innacurate said: more load bearing surface area.

Check out this renaissance-grade artwork:

The diagram is not completely accurate because it's difficult to draw a concave load bearing surface in MS paint, so I just drew the cross sectional maximum. But the actual load bearing surfance on the XLR8 mounts are even greater than what's shown above. And what's shown above still shows a larger surface than the Innovative.

I'll be going with the XLR8 mounts.

Take a look at the difference in the bushings between our XLR8 mounts and Innovative's.

Bushings side to side (XLR8 bushing is black):

Glad it helped. It actually helped me finalize my decision too.
Haha I am. Which means I can drink with the best of them.
