I have a 2008 TL Type S that currently has an RV6 J pipe installed. I've got my heart set on buying the complete XLR8 non resonated cat back exhaust kit next week. I like it because it's deep and not ricey sounding. So here's my question. What effect is the RV6 pipe going to have on the overall sound? I'm not trying to drop a grand to turn my car into a weed wacker lol. Any advice/suggestions are appreciated.

 

I haven't heard the RV6 J-Pipe with our XLR8 exhaust, but I do not our XLR8 exhaust and XLR8 J-Pipe sound amazing together. The J-Pipe adds a but more growl and makes the exhaust a little louder. It overall sounds amazing.
